    I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

Anyone else just hear that loud noise? At first I thought it was a firework but it was more like the "pop!" of a bubble bursting.

The bus wasn't very parked very well tonight

The redoubtable Chris Green MP;

I've had lots of people come into the office and phone up in the last day to complain about the decision made by the High Court yesterday to delay the process for our county to leave the EU.

I want to make it absolutely clear that the people who took this case to court are passionate Remainers who will do anything to thwart the will of the British people. The government will be appealing against this decision in the Supreme Court and we must hope that the correct decision will be made there. If the issue is dragged through Parliament, the opposition will try every trick to force Theresa May to reveal her negotiation strategy to the EU and undermine our position.

Alongside many people from across the local area, I campaigned to leave the EU because I believe that Britain would be a stronger and happier place outside it. We now need to leave as quickly as possible because the current indecision is bad for Britain.

Bringing back memories this ground, Bowton?!

The pitch is a hell of a lot better than it was in Jan.

That Rochdale player should be banned for the season for that elbow that's got him a 12 match ban

Beardsley?

Granted I don't recall much from that season but I can't remember him ever doing a great deal for us?

Beardsley had slowed so much that season he signed for us that the only people not to notice was him and Todd

Aye Blake missed about 16 one on ones at Barnsley. Missed a few at soton first day too but it didn't matter in the end.

I loved Blake but fuck me if he could finish he'd have been one of our greatest.

His miss at Blackburn in the dying seconds and the one at Crewe that ended up in someone's chimney stack are particular highlights.

Always thought only taking 1 point from a poor Barnsley that season was one of the main reasons we went down

And as for Blake at Blackburn........Jesus. Borrowed a mate's ST in the Jack Walker stand that afternoon, when Flowers lay on the floor and Blake only had to hit the target I was already up celebrating

I can still remember the thud of the advertisement hoardings as the ball smashed it :(
