MalcolmW Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Plus, Darren, if Chelsea are not in the top 4 then Wigan don't get Europe, do they? I think No. It's City they play (remember!). Hopefully they will now slump to fifth but win the Cup. (Traditional for finalists to lose before the final. Understandable to lose their rearranged match a fews days later. And an off day to finish, placing 4 London clubs above them.) Quote

no balls Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Michael Owen on MOTD2, the cheeky sod saying the QPR players didn't have any passion etc. True enough but what the fuck has he been doing for the last 4 years other than playing with horses and stealing a living? Be quiet! Quote

Be quiet! Comments from a QPR fan: "It used to be nice being a QPR supporter. Everyone liked the Rangers: a friendly club in an atmospheric little ground, with a history of cheaply assembling teams that played attractive football. When QPR won the Championship two years ago, strangers in pubs would see my scarf and say how pleased they were about the team coming up. Not any more. We're Chelsea writ small these days. The arrogant arrivistes who threw money around and got what they deserved, because they threw money around so stupidly. It's hard to argue. If I wasn't a Rangers fan, I'd hate us. In fact, I am a Rangers fan and I spend quite a lot of my time hating us." Quote

Mounts Kipper Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Up the Villa tonight Oh I do hope so, then I want to hear comical Martinez talk his way out of that one. Quote
no balls Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Paulo should've put a pacamac in his bag. He's going to catch his death Quote
MalcolmW Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 If Villa win, what's the Wigan scenarios? They will be 5 adrift if Villa win. But if they beat Villa on the final day, they would only need to gain 2 points more than Villa in these: Wigan: v Swansea H, West Brom A, Arsenal A; Villa: v Chelsea H, Norwich A. Plan B is Newcastle ship a few more to Sam's Olympians, Harry's mob (both away) and Arsene's (home), allowing Wigan to pick up 5 points from the 4 matches. Quote
Sweep Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Oh I do hope so, then I want to hear comical Martinez talk his way out of that one. 3:1 to Villa now, if it stays that way, it's going to be very, very difficult for Wigan to survive. Quote
Sweep Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 I wonder if Smithills Gent still reckons the WINNERS are guaranteed to stay up Quote
L/H White Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 I wonder if Smithills Gent still reckons the WINNERS are guaranteed to stay up Wigan need to hope Newcastle get dragged into it Quote
Sweep Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Wigan need to hope Newcastle get dragged into it Provided Villa do win this (which they should do now) that will put them level on points with both Sunderland and Newcastle, and just one point behind Norwich. It's going to go right down to the last game I reckon Quote
