no balls Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 5-1 Betterer goal difference than Wigan now? Quote
Sweep Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Betterer goal difference than Wigan now? No, they're both on -23 now Quote
cbwfcd Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 As much as I'd enjoy Wigan going down, I think enjoy Newcastle going down more. Quote
Carlos Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Anyone who thinks WINNERS are staying up should be in K2. Quote
Sweep Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 As much as I'd enjoy Wigan going down, I think enjoy Newcastle going down more. I'd prefer Wigan to go.....but I would quite like either Newcastle or Sunderland relegated if Wigan manage to escape again Quote
snowball Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Stick that in yer pipe Whelan, Roberto and Smithills Bent. The turd is circling the bowl. Quote
White Shirt Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Prefer Newcastle to drop over Wigan Got a mate who's a Newcastle fan, was texting me every week saying we're gonna drop again up until Feb. He's been very quiet recently.. Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Wigan every time for me they should never have replaced Southport, tin pot club they are. Quote
MalcolmW Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Betterer now But a 1-0 win for Wigan over Villa would reverse that, so it's still more open that it seems at first glance. And Sunderland's manager's skills may be tested as never before. At least their goal difference is still healthy. They are home to Stoke next Monday, then home to Southampton and away to Spurs on the last day. Quote
Guest Blixa Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Wigan every time for me they should never have replaced Southport, tin pot club they are. That's an impressively long-lived grudge! Quote

onefinfrandsen Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Wigan all day long, wont believe until they vanish down the bog, but surely they have used up all there luck of the last few years. Quote
Casino Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Need at least 2 wins to stay up, IMO One could be against villa I think another villa win, possibly against norwich or a draw at the pie dome and wiggin are flushed Amazing really as the winners weren't going to come close to relegation Not close Quote
Zico Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Need at least 2 wins to stay up, IMO One could be against villa I think another villa win, possibly against norwich or a draw at the pie dome and wiggin are flushed Amazing really as the winners weren't going to come close to relegation Not close reckon Newcastle should get the win they need at QPR and the FA cup distraction should be enough to see them off in any case, I'd rather be in the same league as Newcastle than Wigan next season, for the away day like Quote
MalcolmW Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Plus, if Wigan do drop and get into Europe, they will be very stretched next season. Quote
MalcolmW Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 If Crystal Palace win tonight then 6th place is definitely between Bolton, Forest and Leicester. In other words, Thursday would definitely be the home play-off. If Crystal Palace draw tonight the thin possibility of fifth still exists. 0-0 would be best. If Crystal Palace lose tonight Bolton can catch them without even winning. 0-2 or more would be best, but 0-1 will do! Quote
Sweep Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Millwall win tonight? We can but hope, and hopefully by a clear 3 goal margin Quote
tomski Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 I don't think we will ever be helped out by teams around us so much again. I fully expect a Millwall win tonight. COYWM! Quote
MalcolmW Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 We can but hope, and hopefully by a clear 3 goal margin There is no advantage in a 3 goal margin. A 2 goal margin will bring their gd to +8. A further defeat v Peterborough would take them to +7 on 68 points. So, in those circumstances any draw against Blackpool would suffice. If they lose by 1-0 twice a 3-3 v Blackpool would put both clubs on 72-62 with 68 points. Fifth equal if Forest draw, or sixth equal if Leicester or Forest win. Quote
