Could be argued they might not have sold out without the free travel (nobody can say for certain, but there's no doubt it will have attracted quite a few).

Anybody know how many have took up on the offer of free travel? Surely a good few will still go by train earlier that want a good drink before game

I agree with you that the club need to maximise revenue out of the game, but IF we were to win and draw say a London club away, would the club do it again !!

ye I think there be plenty on the trains I bet the coaches won't be getin to anfield till about 4 doesnt leave much drinking time before game and they dnt serve beer in stadium this is our reason getin the train to lime St and hitting any pubs near there we think

Arent they filling up the coaches one by one - soon as one is full it departs for Liverpool - so there will only be enough coaches there to bring back the ones that went??
