Watched a few videos of the supermarket storming now, noticed some things, first off why so many coppers crowding the doors id have thought a smaller team would have been used?

 

Also it seems one of their own flash bangs goes off in the middle of them at one point and it looks as if one of them gets hit too you can see him falling back to the floor behind the silver car.

 

And then there's the video of them all struggling and falling up the muddy hill trying to get in position, piss funny.

Cheese makes a great point yet it gets almost dismissed by your reply. Surely there's no difference between Islamic fundamentalist and Nazi fundamentalist is there? One minority group wants something that the vast majority thinks is so wrong they're willing to fight for it. Well this is one of those times we need to fight for it. Fortunately most of us will wait for the law to catch up and give the nod.

Of course I'm an advocate of free speech and freedom in general.

 

But life must be lived in reality, not idealism.

 

The reality is that our desire for freedom of movement has lead to there being millions of other peoples, with other viewpoints, living amongst us. We can show them the benefits of living "our way", but, if adopted, it will take time. It may not be adopted by all.

 

This is the reality and, in my view, to stay safe, we need to be more careful. To some extent, we are living in a foreign country and we should the same caution as we would when abroad. I don't agree with it, but it is the reality.

30 to 40 years ago Religion was on its way out in the UK. I hadn't heard of imams. Now it would seem these imported "leaders" are now defining  moral standards in the UK via their pulpits, and referencing the Quran as the only justification. So we cannot question this new morality which directly conflicts when many western values and beliefs, in case we "poke the dog". 

 

Very disappointed in the views of Cas and BD. All those lives lost in WW2 count for nowt? All the pain suffered by women in the last 100 years obtaining human rights count for nowt?
