What's our record between starting a match with 4 at the back and 5 at the back?

Can't remember coming away from a match thinking 5 at the back worked, even lpool away.

Lennons interview bang on the money said same as my post earlier we need physical players back from injury, don't worry NL will get this right. Looking forward to an old school day out at Forest. COYWM.

Fair play NL, I could listen to that man all day long!

Says it how it is, no bullshit , no PR.

I believe he'll sort it out & he will.

COYWM!

I believe he will as well , not a hope this season mind.   Also wtf is Mjalaby doing with the defence, shipped 10 in last 3 league games .

Aye, been thinking that, if its tactical then fair to say it's not working for us

If it's needs must then fair enough but look forward to something different

Defence isn't the problem. Problem is Pratley is missing in midfield and Danns too today, they are key to how we play and how we stop teams getting at us.

Young Vela isn't quite up to the same level yet and we know Trotter isn't that good off the ball.

And vela was on the right of defence today anyway. I'd like to see him play midfield more often but obviously Lennon doesn't rate McNaughton

Rotherham and again today defence were shocking fella, both teams went through em like a hot knife through butter.

Poor all round. Plus dodgy ref and atrocious pitch although can't put it all doown to the latter. Trotted not vwry mobile before his groin went. Should have took him off straight away. Fat boy Martin went down too easy for free kick. Think his belly took him over. They should have been down to ten in first half for off the ball American football challenge. We weren't good! And also at end but by then no-one gave one.

Gotta win Tuesday

Poor Spider

Doesn't pull his punches. I think if that interview had gone on any longer, they'd have had to start bleeping him.

Be calling him Lenin soon.

Lennon is the man. These injuries would kill any team.

Defending not good enough, even allowing for injuries. New boys should help take some pressure off. Hopefully.

Three more injuries today ?

If I was NL I'd be calling a meeting of medical, training, fitness staff to work out what's going on. It's an abnormal injury rate.

Is it time to admit I don't care until next season. This is all about trial and error. Getting them to play his way. I would still suck off Lennon even now

Isn't time the fitness gurus and physios took a look at the warm up and stretching exercises? I simply don't understand why our players pick up so many hamstring injuries. It must be more than a VERY big coincidence.

Yoga?

May be the answer!

I've pulled a muscle today lifting my pint!

I need to look at my pre-match stretching exercises to get back to proper match fitness

I would love to see you doing pre match yoga

It could be that we are having to play the same players every game. It is a concern though

Lots of games with same players more often than not, something's got to give, problem is depth of squad is small.

It wasn't our finest moment but we lost to the team that will probably go up as champions. Not a great performance but some folk need to get a grip and understand where we are and where we were before NL came.

Years ago some players played every game of the season and we didn't have all these fitness guros or health diets them days.

First 30 minutes we was well in it.

Clough showed usual glimpses of ability. Le fondre held it up, trotter dictating play. Dervite sweeping up.

Had no real issues defending.

But then vela tried a blind pass inside instead of booting out for a throw in and trotter had to lunge in to try and get it. Got booked. 2 mins later trotter gave the free kick away and they scored.

It must be said they were very soft. Ince Martin and billy big bollocks Hughes all went down easy.

Pace of the game is much faster, and players are having to perform explosive movements using muscles under greater stress. Pratley's strain was hardly due to a warm-up issue, it happened half way through the second half
