Poor Spider

I'm just glad it's not me for a change

Pace of the game is much faster, and players are having to perform explosive movements using muscles under greater stress. Pratley's strain was hardly due to a warm-up issue, it happened half way through the second half

Agree with that except Pratley was 5 minutes if that after HT.

Maybe so. Same for every club then. Not sure they all have a mushrooming injury list.

Thin squad also contributes. But injury list was already bad when we'd played few games.

Must have been dragging a bit that game, seemed like much further on!

You're right, it should be same for all, though I'd challenge fans of any other club to come up with as long a list of bad injuries to critical players as we've had over the past three years or so. Given it spans the time of three managers maybe it's something else. I remember Newcastle a while back having a load of soft tissue injuries they reckoned were down to the training pitches. Or maybe we just need a visit from an exorcist?

Texted my Derby mate after the game saying that Martin's going to ground was embarrassing to say the least. Wouldn't be complaining if Cravies had done the same all game for us though. Agree with what has been said about Vela, played 2 blind balls towards his own box and one resulted in a yellow for Trotter and the other Derby's 3rd. His head went for 10 minutes after that. Looked comfortable for the first 35 but never really threatened to get through as much as they did. Great strike from Ince from a dubious free-kick and then we started to falter. Ref was poor all game and nowt fell for us in the box as per. Thought Bannan and Clough looked decent but still Le Fondre had no service to speak of other than the usual punts in his direction. Nice to see a new lad on the scoresheet though. it's a miracle me and Grasshopper even made it.

Lennon out gartside out

Dumped out the cup and 8 put past us in 2 league games, not very good at all

It is time for a change.

Any thoughts on who should replace them?

Certainly thought we were well in the game for the first half hour. Although the free kick we gave away was harsh, I thought trotter was a liability. Second half we fell to bits and offered very little up top. Bannan looked decent. Overall, we would probably have lost that game anyway, but we are shipping goals at an alarming rate. 2 big home games coming up.

Got some tough aways coming, carry on defending like we have been and we will continue to ship goals at an alarming rate. For me, we now need to start preparing for next season - which means Vela has to move to midfield and some bugger else can fill in at full back

Thank you, Mr attendee for your inciteful on the spot reporting!

What?

Really?

You weren't there? But you know it all anyway.... ace!

Have you applied for the job at The B(e)n yet? Because you clearly qualify for on the spot news reporting there!

If you've spelled inciteful wrong like that on purpose, then you sir are a genius.

If not, may I suggest you lay off the moonshine and actually read my post again please?

Trooter (sic) is a very very average player, I'll take no argument on that.

My point was that he seemed to be getting the blame from a few posters yesterday for a 4-1 defeat. I'll point out for you that I was not one of them - in fact I leapt to his defence (possibly not clearly enough for someone 14 pints to the good), and I said it was ridiculous to suggest he was solely responsible for yesterday.

At NO point did I say I'd seen the game. I hadn't. I was, as you deduced, sat in my castle in Horwich drinking the warmed blood of peasants from Johnson Fold, eating unicorns and having my bollocks drained hourly by the New York Jets cheerleaders. Its not my fault we work harder in Horwich.

I love your passion, you're a superfan. But do take the time to read posts properly. My English tutor always advised reading things twice to be on the safe side, particularly if you are forming a response.

Hugs etc..

He wasn't getting the blame for the defeat

He was getting blame for being shit. Again

Which I'm sure contributed towards the defeat as all poor performances will

Such as Vela's yesterday, which is mentioned as much as Trotter's

Don't you start, the grammar police struggle with you.

I seem to have been on the end of several posts calling me a big bum face because I wasn't in Derby punching their children yesterday.

Trotter is shit. But a 4-1 defeat suggests he wasn't the only one yesterday.

But I didn't go. For all I know, Andy Lonergan could have been taking all the free kicks and Lennon was stood on the side firing shit-tipped bullets at the derby fans.

I think we agree on the 3rd paragraph, whether at the match or not

I think (and could be wrong) that Baked was fed up with those who jump to Trotter's defence without seeing how badly he played

Could be wrong like

I think he was leathered and just wanted to pick on me because he knows I've got a bigger willy than him.

In Derby punching their children? Odd choice of words. Fair fucks to anyone that went yesterday after a costly month. I certainly couldn't be arsed to go.

Has everyone on here been on brain donation duty?

never let the football spoil a day out at football.....

trotter was shit by the way

Actually didnt think Trotter was that bad, relatively*. Better than some games. Vela's shocking pass got him booked. Bannon impressive. Once get Mills, Pratley and CDavies back then we'll have a team good enough for this league. (* yes, was at game).

I love NL's interview.

"Pathetic" and "Fannying around" spring to mind.
