February 17, 201511 yr Author To the tune of 80's standard "no you laugh, I don't know why, cos after the match, you are going to die How about a clough, lennon and le fondre song ???] Would like opinions on this one, to same tune as above 'We got neil lennon Le fondre too We need a new messi So cloughy 'ull do ' Edited February 17, 201511 yr by Cinnykid
February 17, 201511 yr People all over the ground, join hands, start a Clough train, Clough train. While doing a konga style line around the ground/pub. Works well in the Rose & Crown on a Saturday night!
February 17, 201511 yr I've said it for years. Our vocal support/crazy corner might as well be stood shouting on tesco's car park. Total waste of time. Every decent ground for atmosphere in this country has a kop or an end. When large followings fill our south stand we may as well be playing away. loved it when the trend at burnden was the paddock seats especially when they sung 10 men went to mow,and that was out of the way
February 17, 201511 yr There's always the obvious...... "He scores when he wants, he scores when he waaants. We've got Zach Clough and he scores when he wants". Why change a winning formula ??
February 18, 201511 yr There was nothing better than the whole of Burnden singing "Oh when the whites go marching in" Hair on the back of the neck moments.
February 18, 201511 yr Not in the Spurs really slow style mind That's cringeworthy as clearly a Spurs song
February 18, 201511 yr Slow chant of wanderers is/was good. Off topic but I believe Oldham had a chant of t i t s what do we do with em? old-em ????
February 18, 201511 yr Author Does anyone remember this from burnden 'wana wana wanderers' to culture club . Original one of ours at the time
February 18, 201511 yr Does anyone remember this from burnden 'wana wana wanderers' to culture club . Original one of ours at the time Still sung at certain away matches from time to time Wasn't just us that sung to that tune either
February 18, 201511 yr Not in the Spurs really slow style mind That's cringeworthy as clearly a Spurs song I like the slow version
February 18, 201511 yr I like the slow version No surprise there then. Does it work with "You'll never walk alone" and "The Red Flag"?
February 18, 201511 yr Does anyone remember this from burnden 'wana wana wanderers' to culture club . Original one of ours at the time last heard and sang heartily at Anfield underneath the stand with the boozers
February 18, 201511 yr Just seen a pic of Cloughys bird on Twitter, very decent. Good work lad. Rules.
February 18, 201511 yr I like the slow version I do when Spurs sing it We might as well sing blue moon
February 18, 201511 yr It's Soton's song really. But I like it when we sing it. Takes me back to my first games at Burnden as a kid. Also think it sounds more effective sung slowly - as it was at Blackpool a couple of seasons ago.
February 19, 201511 yr So when Zach scores his first header "Clough is in the air everytime you look around, Clough is in the air, every sight and every sound"
February 19, 201511 yr Especially with us going to Forest, we could do summat with One by U2 One Clough One Clough One Clough
