At the moment we have a video with a clear edit in the middle start shows sone bloke ( identified as a psg Fan) trying to get on a busy train and pushing a Chelsea fan who reacts.. The fans then start chanting.. can be seen both ways..

 

If you pushed someone in the street the way the french bloke does.. You would get your collar felt..

On the flip side..

You would also in a normal way of life not stop him from getting on when there is clearly room for 1 person.

 

Is the clear edit when the guy appears to have moved? Or is it only clear to the trained eye of a film director

The guy was a PSG fan, and pushed the Chelsea fans first (clearly seen in the video), there were also other people being turned away from the carriage as its clearly full..

 

I'm in now way standing up for racists, but think there must be more than meets the eye to a blatant and random "racist" attack..

I have & yes Chelsea fans are more then bit up their own arse at them. I've also been in Marseille where black fans have behaved in a way that if I'd videoed them I could've earned money from a tabloid too. Well, if I'd felt safe enough to stay & video.

I'm really not sure what has gone on though in full so after hearing bloke sold the video to the press I think it must've been a quiet day in the news office today do thought this'd get everyone going.

If you'd been in amongst a crowd of nobheads acting objectionably, but not participating in this, would you like having your name and identity spread across the internet? That you could have a cloud cast over your livliehood,  your friendships, your studies, threats to yourself or your family etc. on the basis you'd been 'outed' as a racist thug despite doing nowt wrong?

 

The argument here (for me) is not a defence of racism, it's an argument for not having blanket 'naming and shaming' nor having trial by video...

 

There's reasonable doubt that the incident, although objectionable, wasn't a clear cut case of racism.

 

Presenting an argument that ''Chelsea fans are like this, it happens all the time at England matches'' wouldn't wash in any court, yet we have this new found phenomenon of trial by internet.

 

I didn't think this morning I'd be writing in defence of a gang of Chelsea c*nts, but here I am...

 

I very much doubt evidence will be presented contrary to what it looks like, but I'm prepared to wait until the full picture comes in.

Not sure I said that. I'm pretty sure it isn't the norm either. You've got the media saying all Chelsea fans, some saying all football fans are racist etc.... It was a few lads on a train who could well have had a drink.

Oh sorry, they were drunk. That excuses their behaviour then. And foreign people do it too so let's just ignore it. And the man who filmed it is just a grass, going round filming racist football fans for a living...
