February 27, 201511 yr Bolton is the filthiest, unfortunately this shit is last year's data so they could now be clean and other places fucking filthy.
February 28, 201511 yr If Bolton has far dirtier take always than other towns locally that suggests the inspectors are stricter here than elsewhere.
February 28, 201511 yr The Nile was the scummiest of the lot. Dazbobparr used to dine there at least 5 times a week
February 28, 201511 yr Of he got sky wouldn't it be a trench, canyon, gorge, vertical sided valley, etc. rather than a cave?
February 28, 201511 yr Under the points based system they use, almost everyone's kitchens at home would get a zero rating... A lot depends on the inspector as well, they suffer from referitis some of them. Some places are filthy and shit, if a place is good, food-wise, I tend to overlook the rat faeces... Some of the gaffs that look like a new pin have probably terrible practises and filthy yet clean to the eye kitchens. Would anyone really not have a bag of chips from Olympus Chippy on account they got a zero not long back? That said, I used to order from Nile based on a menu through the door, I then went in person one Saturday night, the kitchen bit on show looked fucked, as did the staff, and the abuse they were taking from pissed up wankers, even if the kitchen had been spotless, had I been a member of staff there I'd have been wiping my arse on folks chappatis in revenge for all the verbal GBH I was enduring. I had visions of chefs lining up to piss in the rice pan, and ended up walking out and never ordered from there again - it got shut down a few years later. February 28, 201511 yr I hate to admit it.....but Cassie and Youri are right. I cook all the time at home. I rarely consider washing/wiping the chopping board, and I've yet to poison anybody. Having said that, if I'm paying for food, I want it prepped in a clean environment

March 1, 201511 yr hes reet how does it taste is all that matters i cook fresh regular and hand washing half a dozen times is not on the menu I used to think this way but did microbiology during the first 3 months of my current course plus mandatory training in food hygiene. I did stop buying stuff from those places well before that but what i learnt reinforced that decision. I also made several changes in my own kitchen. The link below gives the latest rating on individual businesses within a post code area. Local authorities do not have definitive timescales for visit frequency but tend to visit 6 months to 2 years depending on the type of business, type of food prepared or served and risk to the public. Of course businesses do not have to display ratings but the Welsh assembly has made it compulsory in 2013. http://ratings.food.gov.uk Edited March 1, 201511 yr by bgoefc

First thing I bought too last October, makes total sense. The fridge got reorganised dishcloths are changed daily as well as tea towels. As part of Microbiology, we had to go around our own homes collecting swabs from different places. Since then door handles, taps, light switches get a regular wipe with weak bleach solution or QAC solution. Believe it or not the TV and other remotes gave the highest viable counts of bacteria.
