It's happening. I can feel it. Not put a bet on this tournament yet but I will today.

Likelihood is I'll end up in the same boat as Eddie and Gonzo with their Brazil predictions.
Edit: And my Canada / USA predictions.

Are you going for an exact score? Bookies don't seem to be offering particularly good odds on Morocco winning and there's a lot of speculation about it being an AET result. I'd be interested to see what you can get as it looks like we're not alone in thinking this could be close.

Especially if, having been brought on towards the end of ET, he missed the decisive penalty.

Is it too much to hope for a snapped cruciate as he runs up to take the penalty?

Just after he’s taken, and missed!

that would probably mean he won't get to play with his children on christmas day properly

weirdo

If he does it on the run-up to the penalty spot, as long as the ball moves it’s whole circumference (or is it diameter?) it’ll be deemed to have been taken won’t it? This situation would lead to even further mirth and merriment around the globe.

5/1 on Morocco to win. Not the best odds tbh, or what I expected. Stuck a tenner on anyway and put a tenner on the Swiss to win 1-0. Tend to bet with my heart, which is why I rarely do it 😁

Good luck with that :)

Morocco doing OK but Bono still hasn't found what he's looking for with his distribution.

Good game, Morocco definitely in it

Loving Amrabat's performance - excellent DM.

Extra time. The more tired the players get, the more it will suit Spain's economical passing game I reckon - bit we live in hope :)

I felt like Morocco's moment was in the first half. Can't see them winning this now.

Just missed a sitter though.

Not if they keep missing opportunities like that, they won't.

Spain will win on pens

Two sitters there. Not sure if the first was called off or not.

Did you read/hear about their manager saying he wanted them to have taken at least 1000 pens before joining up with the squad! Will be interesting to see whether that repetition is good preparation for a penalty in a World Cup knock out game - I hope not 😂

Hopefully Morocco bag one so we don’t see.

The African nations excel in penalty shootouts in their nations cup. Seen a few go to 10 apiece and think think one went to 20 before someone missed. Not sure if Morocco were involved though.

So Spain to win on pens

Amrabat has been incredible but Cheddira is wank - could have scored 3. Or at least taken a shot.

Pens it is. Time for Bono to make it a beautiful day.

Unreal level of fitness that.

Wife is getting giddy. She got Morocco in her work’s sweepstake. Must admit, they’ve been better than I thought.

Come on!

Doh!
