  • Rotherham play Birmingham on Good Friday so we'll know beforehand if we can put them down

  • FFS who actually gives a shit?   Let's get this thread back on topic, Bolton 3-1 to relegate the orange wankers.

  • Depends on Rotherham v Brighton on Friday.   If Blackpool win all their games they can get 44 pts. If we beat them then it'll be 41 pts. Rotherham are currently on 40.   A Rotherham win would also

Who were fibrlec advertising to?

The football paying public and TV viewers like every other football sponsor

In Fibrelec's case, it is a new company created at Bolton Uni who need to get their name/brand out there

doesnt your lad know one of em?

whats happening...they still at it?

Yes, 1 of the directors who set up the sponsorship deal, they've got a 3rd year option but i don't think they're gonna take it up

Yes I get that. Which is surely all Bolton at home want. Getting their name out there. Same as Fibrlec it isn't about generating sales. Just brand.

But don't people living in Bolton already know of Bolton at Home Can't see any point promoting their name outside the Bolton area.

Which is why I asked the same question earlier

Id hazard most people that watch Bolton will be from the Bolton area?

Will "Bolton at Home" on away shirts improve our away record? Anything is worth a try.

By and large, the same 13k people watch out home games and a different 11-27k each away game. What percentage of that 13k do we reckon actually used social housing services? I'd conservatively guys at 10% so around 1300.

Again, who are they advertising to?

They aren't. Same as fibrlec aren't. They are using it to generate news stories, bit of web attention, driving people to their website, increasing brand recognition and making people more aware of the services they offer.

Very Good

For the record I would have Jimmy savilles face on our kit next year for £500k in Lenny's kitty

If we were going to donate the sponsorship to anyone for the Blackpool game then I would have favoured an Oysten family portrait just to wind the fuckers up

Did anyone ever buy anything from HB electronics or use Knights security?

I used knights security for an illegal rave I held in Blackburn in 1990

Come to think of it, I need CCTV fitting at home, they still open?

They are a private landlord.

Thought they were a Housing Association ?

Which is different than a private landlord.

I used private as opposed to them or their properties being publically owned

So publicly bought and now privately owned?

I've got a spare £100 wonder if I can sponsor a match

Course you can. Crofters v White Horse will gladly take your money.

I'm not sure they would let you put "Gartside Out" on the front of the shirts if that's what you're thinking  :)

If anyone sees these two at the match, will you bang their heads together and then blow a raspberry between them please. Thank you.

Fair enough but a housing association is massively different to a private landlord.

Housing association do receive some public funding and allocation of properties is driven by council rules and regulations.

Do find it strange people questioning this, the club is part of the community (or used to be and people complain that link has gone) and this is about building links to the community.
