Suspect Pisano is fairly expensive wages wise. And we are having to shave the wage bill again for next season. Not a surprise that we won't get much to spend.

I don't think Lennon will see any of the £1.75 million.  The only money he will be able to spend will be the money we've saved from Ream's wages.

I can't see that at all being the case if as has been rumored Hoopers the main attacking target that can't be the case, I doubt the budget will stretch to hooper but there must be players available for the money we have from the Ream deal.

I don't really see the point in signing loan players anyway, other than as an emergency attempt to avoid relegation.

In the new era, the club are surely going to want to bring through their own youngsters so they can flog them. Spending effort and wages developing the players of another club seems a waste.

Perhaps we feel we are relegation fodder, and unless we get players in (and we can only do it via the loan system it would seem) we're going down, or certainly flirting with it

On 17 August 2015, Silva was rumoured to be joining Bolton Wanderers F.C. on loan for the 2015/2016 season. The move never materialised and later on the same day Silva signed for Nottingham Forest F.C to join up with his childhood hero Doogie Freedman who hosted his favourite tea time show 'Doogie Bingo Wings'

Seriously hoping a striker who can put the ball in the net is just around the corner.

Where's the striker we need? Obvious Hooper WAS a pipe dream, you don't have to be on the board to know Lenny is getting precious little of the Ream money. If there was a modicum of ambition we would have gone for ALF (Lennon said he wanted him but a deal was beyond us!) Davies is pulling out and his lackey Gartside just wants to keep trousering his half a million salary for as long as possible, even in 3rd Division where we are heading.

Lennon must have a striker up his sleeve, IMO this Silva will do nothing other than provide backup for the wide men. From what I have read of Neil Lennon recently he seems very persistent on having backup for all positions.
