Moderators Casino Posted January 5, 2016 Moderators Share Posted January 5, 2016 (edited) granted, but below He could soon be able to walk away from his contract if the financial problems continue to hit home. he's been able to do that for 12 months we'd love him to and i'm sure at the time he had something on his twitter about 'whites star' looking to leave no fcuker is stopping him Edited January 5, 2016 by Casino

Eavesy
How the hell are derby county adhering to financial fair play?!?! I accept they have reasonable crowds. (Average 29k) But an extra 14k of fans can only stretch so far?
Site Supporter Biggish Dave Posted January 6, 2016 Site Supporter Share Posted January 6, 2016 They won't be but QPR said bollocks to it too and nothing seems to have happened to them - I thought they were being walloped with a massive fine but all seems to have gone quiet on that

He wasn't great but something must have gone on for him to not even feature on the bench?

Farrelli
Zach Clough to brum for 750k rumour. They have just lost Gray to Leicester so there could be truth in their interest. It would be very sad to sell him to another championship team though.

(Average 29k) But an extra 14k of fans can only stretch so far? 2 new strikers to add to Martin, Bent, Weimann, Russell..........reckon I'd back myself to get them promoted with that squad. We really aren't going to be back in the top flight for a loooooooong time are we?
Guest
We really aren't going to be back in the top flight for a loooooooong time are we? Bournemouth fans probably thought they'd never see the Promised Land even 2-3 years ago!
xxxxxx
I'd be disgusted if we sold Clough for 750k, and especially selling him to a Championship side. That money may keep us going for a couple of extra weeks, but there's no guarantees we won't be in the same situation a month after that. Essentially, we could be selling Clough for basically fuck all when it won't really solve anything..... when apparently we owe over 2.2m anyway. This is the kind of issue that could flush out the possible purchasers. If they are serious (have money) then they will step in to ensure he either doesn't leave or we get a fair fee. We are getting closer to turkey time.

Sweep
Also heard from mate who supports them T'Rovers bid £800k for Clough, looking to bring a few in now embargo lifted I think Mounts would combust if Clough was sold to Blackburn for £800K I have a horrible feeling that Clough will be off somewhere within the next few weeks, and we'll not be getting much more than £1M for him, no matter who comes in for him
Traf
If we go into administration, we might get nothing for him. Just a thought. 750k pays the taxman and gives Trevor Birch breathing space in his hunt for a buyer.
Traf
Anyway, where the fuck's Pablo? Rumour has it Everton are very interested. (in Clough, not Pablo)
xxxxxx
To be honest, if Clough is going for like 750k..... then surely rumoured clubs like Everton and Southampton will be in for him? I would rather Clough went to a Premier League side than a Championship team.
