stevieb
Beer 52 do some good ales but at £24 a month for 8 330ml cans and bottles I tend to wait for deals. Last Groupon was superb, £12 for 8 beers and a £24 months pass, deals like that are not often though I got a beer 52 subscription off the Mrs for my birthday, £120 for 6 months. It's good but there's always one ale you don't drink until you are steamers and it's either that or turps. Usually a porter that tastes like death. Won't be renewing but will spend a bit more getting the odd new ale from Booths or summat.

You cant knock the selection at Booths if you happen to have one convenient for home or work. Not as overpriced as some of the food is in there neither. MancWanderer
Just supped a lovely can of Redwell Steam Lager Think I got it from Tesco but not sure. Very nice. More like an IPA. I'll be getting that again
Mike Hunt
Had a call from Beer52 this weeks offering 2 free bottles with my next box. Told them I was cancelling so they dropped price to £15 and still got 2 free. One bottle retails at £5.75!! Apparently it is standard practice to drop price to £15 if you call to cancel

Site Supporter Spider Posted September 24, 2017 Site Supporter Share Posted September 24, 2017 The Brew Dog milk stout is top notch. Must admit that I like everything they do, and it's getting expensive.

stevieb
Word of advice... Don't drink Elvis juice at 9.30am for an away day otherwise you'll end up a dribbling wreck by half time like me at port Vale last season. Love the stuff but its rocket fuel and too easy to drink. wiggy
If you think Elvis Juice is dangerous then you need to stay well clear of Brewdog's Mr President which is 9.2%. Not quite a session IPA. Was drinking Beavertown's Gamma Ray last night. Very good.

Not quite a session IPA. Was drinking Beavertown's Gamma Ray last night. Very good. Not had Mr President but Gamma Ray is also very drinkable too, is that 7%. Had a couple and had to move on to Neck Oil. If you like Elvis juice try Clwb Tropicana.
Moderators Zico Posted September 25, 2017 Moderators Share Posted September 25, 2017 The thing about the fruit infused ones is some do taste awful and artificial so cam be hit and miss Had a pineapple ipa recently by oceans, about £4 a can, grim Mojo by Robinsons, 1.50 a bottle, lovely
