Bloody sick of these .gov petitions on Facebook   It's an anti fracking one now   Apparently were about to destroy the local environment   Says the person who filled up a full tank of fuel toda

  • the consultation is a general election   frack on

  • Im in favour of it in the right area, not in a nymby way but for the sake of the local populations and infrastructure.   But knowing a bit about geology and environmental sciences and shit, I simpl

I'm a pessimistic fucker, we're on the downward spiral imo, nowt will change it...I went for a mooch yesterday, at least an hour off any path to some cliffs where you could walk no further, some cunts had had a picnic and a few beers and tabs there and left their shite, weren't kids either, could tell that from what had been ate/drank/smoked...Couldn't get my head around it, they'd had the motivation to get there but none to not leave it a shit tip - crap falling into the sea, it's about then I decided we're fucked, people just don't give a shit.

I share you pain. Shite everywhere. Cleaned up round our way before now and will carry on but fighting against a tide.

Article in bn yesterday about flytipping.

Most comments slagging council off for not clearing it up (parks). Very few criticise those actually creating the problem.

If the shit wasn't there the council wouldn't need to spend loads trying to keep the place clean.

In my case this was overseas, where you want to paint everything as better to home...The beauty of the place and the fact a good number of folk had enjoyed it, judging by the picnic rubbish, then not one of them had thought to pipe up "happen we should take this to a bin or sommat?"

See it in the UK too though, fucking really pisses me off, getting owd perhaps, but as long as I'm not going to get jabbed by an AIDS needle I'll pick it up and bin it if I'm on foot.

Littering is a fucking cunts' trick and no mistake.

Edited by Youri McAnespie

Lazy cunt litterers should be rounded up and forced to break up sewage blockages at treatment plants for a month as punishment.

All indicative of a slow decline in standards IMO. Brought up in Tintern Avenue, Tonge Moor and folk had award winning gardens back then.

Recent visits have convinced me that Damascus today probably has gardens more likely to win an award than Tintern Avenue (unless rotting Ikea furniture has suddenly become in vogue for garden proud types).

Unlike Youri, I am an optimist. A lurch to the right may restore national (and local) pride.

I disagree, Bolty. It's apolitical imo, I reckon' there's dyed in the wool commie arseholes and arseholes of the right who think chucking their shite wherever it may land is cricket.

I like the idea of 're-education' for litterers though, I'd add a caveat of no waders and they'd be breaking up turds too, with an egg spoon.

Hall i'th wood was the same as no doubt other places were too.

A couple of folk have just been done for not tidying shit up in their gardens, but its borough wide.

Moreover if they get fined they can't pay it, unless its 50p and a can of ale per week.

Society is properly strange at times.

Even if you evict the sods they just go elsewhere on carry on.

The vocal ukip supporter opposite me has all sorts of shite in his garden.

I reckon' there's probably another wanker close by, Labour, who has a settee in the garden.

It's not a question of left or right imo it's a question of "What's the cheapest way we can ship these lazy cunts off to Siberia?"

His neighbours have a load of shit in their garden too but I'd imagine they're too baked to go vote.

Fucking annoying. Its got worse around here since the council closed a local tip and started charging £3.50 per bag of builders rubble. Most laybys have rubble, settees, fridges or gardening waste tipped in them. I keep pestering our local councillors to put up some cameras to catch the cunts but they whinge about lack of funds.

Is that for the general public?

If so then its ridiculous. At least ours are free to recycle your rubble.

There's an ad hoc cowboy builder's tip on the private lane leading up to Firwood Fold (off Winchester Way/Thicketford Road)

Plasterboard, asbestos sheeting, hardcore, old fridges..

I'd fucking lie in wait for the cunts, crush their vans then hammer their hands.

i know a bloke who has a tree in his garden, the branch has grown and is hitting the window and is going to do some damage one day, not just breaking the glass, but also if left unchecked its going to grow straight into the window and crack it in anycase

this is the house he lives in and puts up with noise of the branch hitting the window while watching telly, eating dinner or trying to sleep.

the offer of my bow saw and cutting it off was met with " fuck that, its the councils house, and councils tree let them lazy twats do it, they're fucking useless in that town hall, ive asked them twice"

unbelievable attitude from an otherwise reasonable bloke to be honest.

Perhaps he should speak to Bolton at home not the council.

Anyway, iirc Tennant's are responsible for their gardens

aye, was just his response and the thought of him rather have who he deemed responsible for it do it rather than a simple remedy himself.

council is his catch all phrase for authority, in fact, he actually refers to them as " them lot in the town hall" and it could be anyone from Tfgm or viridor or someone.

You can't help some cunts, they're fucking lost...

Anyway, iirc Tennant's are responsible for their gardens

I know I am here in bury, we had to construct a new garden fence when we moved in between us and next door as the previous tenant used it as a bonfire and next door weren't for coughing up.

Can't beat the old privet hedges.

Fencing eventually gets shitty and needs replacing.

4 bags a month in Wigan, took my reg number and address. I'll be going back for the next three months. I may fill the wine bottles with dust then re-cycle em.

All viridor sites have anpr cameras and can flag up repeat visitors, even if you go to different sites. Meant to stop businesses from avoiding payment. If they looked again at their charges life might become easier.

Last time I asked they wanted £60 min. fee for green waste.

A place in Leyland will do it for £15.

Swampy and Swampetta were being proactive this morning by stopping rigs from leaving the yard at AE Yates on Cranfield Rd. For the last two weeks there's been a small police presence; today there was none. Up to today all the protesters did was wave flags and bang drums. Until it rained, then they went home. Looks like they have stepped up their game with the recent Armstrongs statement yesterday. With fracking scheduled for the Horwich area I would be interested to hear what Horwichers think about this tactic of stopping folk from working.

I've been to Radcliffe tip about 15 times in 2 or 3 weeks

No hassles, no questions

And I don't even live there

Hedges won't keep the mutt in the garden.

I'd be interested to know if the protesters were local folk.

I remember the ones I'm my Nan's garden. A tank would have struggled to get through. They do take a long time to mature though.

Aye general public and you have to pay . However, you can apply for a free "inert" waste permit online that allows you to dump ten bags FOC per year. It takes a few weeks to arrive hence hardly any fucker bothers. These are Lancashire County Council rules.
