I'd be interested to know if the protesters were local folk.

One had a Blackpool shirt on. But to answer your question; unless you ask them there's no way of knowing where the live.... or squat.

They'll be back again tomorrow. If I'm visiting Yates' I'll ask.

Perhaps he should speak to Bolton at home not the council.

Anyway, iirc Tennant's are responsible for their gardens

Tennants, Stella's, and any old lager

All I've seen on social media is local folk complaining about the protesters attitude and agressive tone towards them.

To be fair though, they might think you're one of them :)

They've some hefty pieces of plant at Yate's surely one of them could deal with the protesters

Run em over with a JCB, or twat em about the head with a substantial chunk of seasoned ash!

My AE Yates contact tell me that the out of town protesters are planning a big turn out tomorrow. Isn't this a good time for the Horwichers to get down there tomorrow morning and tell the unwashed that their methods are not appreciated? No point in moaning about them from a far.

Trouble is we aren't available to counter protest because we have jobs.

I see Horwichers walking around the place all day. Surely one can make an effort?

You'd like to think so but them who don't do much of a daytime probably have more in common with Swampy.

Swampy and Swampetta were being proactive this morning by stopping rigs from leaving the yard at AE Yates on Cranfield Rd. For the last two weeks there's been a small police presence; today there was none. Up to today all the protesters did was wave flags and bang drums. Until it rained, then they went home. Looks like they have stepped up their game with the recent Armstrongs statement yesterday. With fracking scheduled for the Horwich area I would be interested to hear what Horwichers think about this tactic of stopping folk from working.

Shoot the cunts

I liked working with Yate's a successful local company that did good work and didn't try ripping off the council.

Made life so much easier for both parties.

They should fire up the TBMs and dig underneath swampy and crew to the fracking site.

Did you know that one of the channel ones was left down there? For eternity.

That's what they want you to think. Daniel Ocean bought it.

It takes a lot to get my back up. But on the Johnny Evans scale of cunts you want to punch in the face, this lot are pushing a good 8.5/10. The swampys are taking a more proactive approach at AE Yates today. They are lying down at the entrance of the place so no one can drive in or out. This is causing a congestion problem with anybody using Cranfield Rd. So much for only disrupting the folk at AEY.

Mow the cunts over

If they're lying in the road it gives the impression that they're willing to die for what they believe.

Get your hearse round there and run em over with that - drum up a bit of business

Or at least restrict driving speeds to 10mph

Isn't this an offence?

Get them locked up, or chain ganged pulling supermarket trolleys out of canals.

Wonder where this carillion stuff will leave the fracking plans??

Now they have gone into liquidation it will be interesting times for fracking though the government will probably prop up any public contracts.

Not sure it will cause too much of a problem, I'm sure quadrilla will get someone else in to undertake any work carillion were doing. Their latest statement said there's evidence of plenty of gas down there, so I can't see them put off by any delays.

Don’t think it will stop HS2 either

As big as Carillion are they only have 20k employees, it’s an army of sub contractors behind them that do the work and will continue to for someone else

The FA are big on making sure folk who want to take over a football club are fit and proper. Do the Government have a similar process for giving out these £billion contracts?

I'd say they don't give a fook as long their palms are getting greased.

This sector is the bentest going.
