Didn't threaten though Not watched the game back on TV yet but from where I was sat it seemed that any one on one header in our box was won by them. Even by a fucking midget like Rhodes. Anything on the ground then Prince clattered it but in the air we were shite defensively. They never threatened cos they were shite. A half decent team would have stuffed us I so want to be optimistic about our performances, particularly our defence after last year, but I came away last night thinking that we were lucky not to have lost. Just hope that Lenny works with them on the aerial stuff ready for the next games

August 29, 201510 yr I happen to think we are a finisher short of being a pretty decent team. It's shown that if you don't bounce back to the prem immediately then it takes time to rebuild. Derby and Middlesbrough being examples

He's there to hold it up not score goals. Heskey hasn't got the legs to play all game and I can't see us reincarnating Kevin Davies from 2007 so he's the best we've got.

If that 87 min shot had gone in , Embankment would have probably have done his legs in jumping from the upper tier onto the pitch. Why segregate pay on the day from the masses below ? Great turnout . As usual a good afternoon drink was had heading towards the ground from Darwen carrrr parrrrrk. Special mention for Dawwwn Sarfff who for once was totally blatherred. The Dog was on fine form and true to his word was last spotted scoffing a ruby in the Anaz. Credit to Son of Dart who had been with the above mentioned 2some since 12oclock and managed to appear sober. The rest Shark ,Sputnik Stan, Grumpy Bat , Pinocheo's Dad , happy ending and Darwin's finest all turned out at 6. Due to driving and work I watched the match totally sober , and surprisingly enjoyed the game. Hopefully we can soon start scoring and pick up a few wins. At least we are getting stuck in and making teams work for anything they get. P.s. The ref was a bloody joke.

He has two defenders around him every time he gets it but looks like he can hold it up well. The problem is the others aren't feeding off him. Dobbie may be the best partner for him I think. He has missed chances and the penalty miss was poor but the lad has had very little support in the games I've seen. Give him time and he will come good.

Wild mice training routine has been put back due to the arrival of Sylvesters at the Embankment household. Early Dart was wandering lonely as a cloud.
