Trying to negotiate with Arabs is folly, Trump has it right support Israel and steam roll away. Mans a legend.

So you support the loss of jobs for hundreds of UK workers that could happen as a result of this?

Those jobs will be replaced quickly enough when the EU shackles are thrown off, and we start trading with the rest of the world

It has been quoted that Airbus/Boeing have invested $38b in aircraft deals with Iran much of which will be providing work for UK workers. We may continue to trade but Trump has threatened sanctions if we do just that.

This just gets more unbelievable. Trump now wants to shut down media organisations that tell negative stories about him despite him telling thousands of untruths himself in the past 18 months. I thought a free press is the conerstone of a democracy

He's talking about "pulling credentials from news outlets that he deems to be unfair". Sounds like a dictatorship to me. The right wing drongos who bang on about the importance of press freedom will be desperately finding a way to defend him on this. Sharing their limited collective pool of braincells.

and he is the sole arbiter of what is unfair.

Yes he seems to be, but oil is up $2 a barrel today ( 2.75%) and $9 in a month, off you go Don lets see if you can get it back too $100, this after complaining about OPEC and the price of oil, he as almost on is own done this, but he has difficulty joining the dots

Just imagine 6 more years of this wrecking ball of a President

Trump fans will spin this as a positive thing......somehow

This is a quite different type of president your taking everything he says literally, do not hang on to his every words, often he says things to provoke a response and bring matters to a head, he’s not one for soft soap diplomacy, you’ll get use to his style eventually and you’ll see that’s how he gets results.

You see he’s helping Arab states by getting higher oil price and he gets bigger tax revenue. ????

As i said earlier he is dismantling everything Obama so he is delivering on his election promises. You can't play geo-political Call my Bluff all the time and not expect to have consequences.

he gets no extra tax revenue, the tax on fuel here is a fixed amount per gallon as opposed to VAT in the UK which is a %

Diplomacy by acting the cunt all the time?

It's certainly novel

By results do you mean raising tensions across the world to point of all out warfare; being so isolationist that it damages trade relations across the world and increases inflationary pressures within the US and implementing immigration policies that confirm his racist tendancies. Remember we need the US to sign a fantastic trade deal though i suspect even the most ardent of Brexiteers doubts that will happen now

The merits of brexit can't be decided upon the actions of Trump.

He may be all the things folk say he is; but he's either not as daft as he appears or there's sturdier folk in the background.

The USA needs exports as well as imports so whilst he may be trying to level up the playing field as he sees it; it's not in his interests to keep risking increased alienation.

I agree that Brexit is not only about Trump but we were banking on signing a bumper trade deal or did i get that wrong. What would be helpful for other countries if Trump was more transparent with his trade strategies because all we see is the protectionist elements and none of the broader visionary plans that the rest of the world is waiting for

What have I said that is incorrect?

Like I say you take everything literally, it’s all part of his brinksmanship and his tried and trusted tactics to achieve his goals, he’s brought North Korea to the table he’s in the process of doing the same with Iran, he has warned NATO that it’s about time others started paying their fair share, he’s cracking the whip with Mexico in short he’s playing hardball with everyone he feels are taking the piss he’s absolutely spot on, knows his stuff and will be one of the best presidents ever for the USA.

China brought NK to the table nowt to do with Trump and his twittering.

Frank thank god someone who sees it for what it is

Frank thank god someone who sees it for what it is

They happened around the same time as Donald stirring shit up with his tweets. But it was actually China bringing in Sanctions against that NK that sent Kim running to the negotiations

Also sent Kim running to China, twice I believe

Also sent Kim running to China, twice I believe

Plus their last bomb screwed their nuclear capability, at least for the time being, so it was inevitable they would look to strike deal
