Why are people more bothered about him fixing the wall along the Mexico border and saying pussy than they are about people over here using food banks, huge police cover ups regarding grooming gangs, bent politicians etc etc etc Quote

I defend/like him because he’s one of the few politicians that is trying to do things he said he would do in his election. Things that previous presidents said they would do, got in power then didn’t do it. Everyone seems to be up in arms about the kids in cages where was the outcry with Obama’s? Everyone up in arms when he said the embassey will be moved to Jerusalem, where was the outcry and demos when the previousl presidents said it? There’s always been a border and previous presidents sent 1000s of border guards to protect it where was the outcry then? You can see where I’m going with this. He’s getting hammered more than any other president but for what reason? Yes he comes up with some stupid statements, he sometimes gets his words mixed up (he is 72) but he’s also doing a lot of good. Quote

It was the best we've so far managed to come up with as a species. It wasn't perfect - and even with the US on board it would have only kept temperature increase to about 2.7 degrees by 2100 (not the 2 they were aiming for). Without the US - even 2.7 is unlikely. Hopefully - some of the more progressive cities will ignore him continue to try and reduce their carbon emissions independently. Quote

Just because he is attempting to do what he said he would do doesn't make the policy right, does it? He said he wanted to protect US jobs by imposing widespread trade tarrifs causing the world's GDP to slow by upto 0.5% or £450b if they continue. As usual Trump thought he could bully his way through this but he has been faced with like for like tarrifs which will ultimately harm all economies. Do you think his trade policy is the correct one? As for the difference between the Obama v Trump policy of illegal immigration, Obama's administration focussed on the dangerous criminals whereas Trump has a Zero Tolerance on all illegals so no one is priortised and he made this his policy, with no deviation, making it more ruthless. He is now acknowledging Russia DID meddle in the 2016 election. The outcry re Helsinki has had a bigger impact on him than he thought it would and no doubt been told in no uncertain terms to support his security agencies. He misspoke, should've said "wouldn't" rather than "would".
