You need to check back though. I freely admit that on many issues I don't agree with him and would even consider him to be slightly mad on some (abortion for example). Being the icosahedron he is, there are other facets of the man which I like.

If that gets the forum commie, the forum hystericalist and the big C frothing at the mouth then it can't be a bad thing. They should be more worried about how many votes he will get next time around in the US Presidential election. I am anticipating that they won't be happy.

I presumed this would be an analogy, a comparison to late term abortions as such, with possibly just this line taken out of context to paint a bad picture , and presumed there’d be another part to this that would make it make sense, but I cant see anything else other than this statement to indicate that ?

Think he was referring to the act of killing a child after it was born rather than an abortion during pregnancy, which is what Trump seems to be implying happens and what I cant believe people think happens

In those circumstances a physician and the parents could agree that it isn't in the child's best interests and allow them to die naturally, presumably surrounded by a loving (although traumatised) family and a medical team ensuring the baby is without pain and suffering.

Should that be "is in the child's best interests"?

It would be helpful if the Don spoke in a more statesman like, intelligible fashion.

I agree on some of his plans, not on many others, but it is really difficult at times to make head or tail of his comments.

Would be understandable debate if that was clear, but he uses the word execute?  Is that the bit people are up in arms about?

execute as opposed to allow to die? 

Salford claimed what he was talking about was homicide, both words indicate people think he’s talking about killing babies, not allowing them to die naturally.

What Trump was suggesting was the babies were being executed once born (inferring it was done lawfully) which is not true, that is homicide. In the US an abortion can be lawfully take place in the first trimester of a pregnancy and those babies who, as Kent points out, are diagnosed with genetic or other conditions are the exception. Only then a decision is made between the medical team and the family as to what happens. 

My sister in law carried one such baby until full term with the full knowledge that my niece would only survive a few short hours, she was wrapped in a blanket and cuddled until she passed. There was no execution just a grief stricken family allowing their severely disabled daughter to die as nature determined. 

For someone to make political gain out of such a tragedy is sub human and folk who think otherwise need to good hard look at themselves in the mirror.
