Sorry for diving in…..but if I was answering your question then a few things (I) he’s guilty, (ii) he’ll he impeached, (iii) he’ll be sent to prison,  (iv) he will be publicly humiliated and most importantly (v) any victims will be fully compensated.

Absolutely.  Full belief/trust in rule of law*. If the evidence is there then great & prosecute.  If not fine & acknowledge his innocence.

During my stay in NY, I ate burgers most of the time. (When in Rome)

The best I had, was in a restaurant next to Grand Central Station. They ain’t like the burgers we get over here.

I’m guessing the people trying to be snobbish about them have either never been or are, well, just snobbish.

To be fair to The Don his place was good and fairly priced, better than Tavern on the Green and some of the other recommended places. Like you said though “when in Rome” we did the scruffy street vendors, your chains like Wendy’s and Denny’s and one everyone told us to go to which was Stardust diner which was awful.

I don't know where you got your recommendations from but Stardust is well known to be utter dog shit but can be entertaining for the kids.

There's loads of brilliant places to eat in NYC, I love the place.

When we were in Milan, we went to a small place that was recommended as the best pasta place in the city. It was like a cafe by the banks of the Naviglio Grande Canal. It was very good but at the end of the day it was just pasta. 
When in Rome or New York or Milan…..
