Shabana Mahmood on the lash with the England lads when they win the world cup.

One of those two things definitely won't happen.

PS Shabana likes a drop of Stella

I can't image anybody British doing that, but I don't really see a massive problem with it

Me neither.

Ice hockey is massive over there, and to win against the old enemy, Canada, is a great moment for them.

Starmer goes to many Arsenal games- no doubt he has the odd beer, or glass of wine whilst there.

Other PMs attend the cricket etc.

Quite good to see him celebrating, but afterwards, away from all and sundry, so as not to steal their thunder.

A lot to dislike about Trump et al, but this isn't one of them.

I was going to say how it would help Starmer's image if he was celebrating with the England lads should they win the world cup.

However, there is less chance of him being the PM then, than there is of them winning it.

I'd Starmer did do that then there would be plenty queuing up to have a pop

No doubt.

Doesn't make them right to do so.

Same as those having a pop at this mon.

Criticise the bloke's record/performance, not for having a beer with his national team.

That Trump phone call is fucking ace, to be honest.

not convinced it's him, sounds like him, but almost too coherent

not sure he'd ring up a call in when he could just go on truth social and say the same thing to folk that will listen to him

but if it was him, I wouldn't be surprised either

Weighing up his style, and imagining how things would work in the Whitehouse, I'd say there is virtually no chance it was Trump.

Latest rant about not getting his own way, he refuses to say Supreme Court because they were naughty.

Imagine him sat there thinking..’This will show them.’

Disruptor Don

He did make me laugh yesterday. He's apparently tanking in the polls at the minute . When presented with the numbers, he decided that it was all fake news (even FOX said he's on a downward slide, and currently 36-64), and he's actually doing really well and is very popular. No matter what any poll says.

Interestingly, one of the reasons cited for the slide, is the fact that there is "voter fatigue" with him - pretty much saying that everyday there is a huge drama and/or conflict. I saw an interview where somebody said "wouldn't it be nice, if there was no drama for a day or two, without him being sued or threatening to sue somebody"

The way Trump is, I think he needs to be in the news every day, fuck knows why, but very rarely does a day go by, without him telling lies, or making up some ridiculous policy

Yep - he’s a malignant narcissist, so he has to be in the spotlight. Everything is about him.

Meanwhile the Beeb fact checked his rambling state of the union speech last night. Lots of porkies. No surprise there then.

It was the same with Boris.

Zero political talent, 100% bluster and bullshit just shouted into the cameras.
