A Junior Doctor is one ewho is not a Senior Doctor.

So a Junior is not a Consultant, GP or other specialist, but they are all postgraduates and are qualified doctors.

Stockings and suspenders were de rigeur for Chester School of Nursing class of '79, used to make me smile thinking 'if only the patients knew what else they weren't wearing under those uniforms'!

Reason being hospital wards were heated to the temperature of an equatorial island in those days..... as was the onsite nurses home, a wonderful institution.

Either foundation year 1 or 2. The one you usually see when first taken to a&e.

Still qualified

Bet they didn't need the lesson from the ward sister on what to do with a patients unexpected erection!!

Wouldn't be allowed these days and probably classed as assault!
