Bristol City V Bolton Wanderers

....excited :)

2-2

Last minute silva goal for us sparking wild scenes in the away end as 60 hung over lads and a fire place go ballistic.

Little Whitt is getting chained to birch all day as it was too expensive for a real midget.

"There are ways of getting beat" says Darren Pratley - we know mate, you've explored most of them.

At the minute Silva is a damn site more enjoyable to watch running down blind alleys and falling over at the slightest breeze than clough is milling about in no mans land.

Trouble is that League 1 is full of teams that stuff the midfield, get the tackles in and play it physical.

We haven't got the toughness to cope with that so we better get one or two in the summer.

Think our youth and u-21s are always a bit lightweight too.

We haven't got a chubby little lad that covers every blade of grass on the field like the young Peter Reid.

Mark Davies is your man. Except he runs to get marked or commit himself so that he can never her get near a man

Peter Reid would eat Mark Davies alive if they were playing in the same era he'd have him crying after 5 minutes.

We should bring back Jamie Pollock.

Has he eaten Mark Davies?

Stig Tofting?

Just back.......anyone want some train tickets for Brentford ? :(

That team with an unfit Wheater, decent centre half Derik playing at right back, decent right back Vela playing in midfield & 2 youngsters who aren't good enough yet playing upfront, was a disaster waiting to happen. Conceding 2 early goals killed any plans we had (?? ) & without any leadership either on or off the pitch, it was soon a mess & only a matter of how many Bristol scored. It could have been more than six.

I suppose a bit of a plus is that if we'd won a game or two, there'd have been a clamour for JP to get the job, when we desperately need a manager with experience & some success of managing a club in the lower leagues without a pot to piss in. Until then, it could still get worse before it gets better.

Anyway, Bristol is a good place to visit...I hope Rovers get promoted.

I woke up, watched the goals and have decided they can all just fuck off. Right off.

I've seen fuck all and its staying that way.

To think I had great expectations of Reidy going in swearing a lot, kicking stuff and the team playing out of their skins so they don't get a table of orange juices thrown over them.

Early days yet, I've a feeling Davies dragged off HT had something to do with Peter Reid.

Despite the thrashing a great weekend with some great lads and fellow Wandereswayers good to meet loads off here for the first time. Thanks to Little Whitt always top laugh with the mad fucker. Also had a good chat with Sober Dan, thought he was cracking lad for a young un.????

Been in a state of shock and despair since Saturday, had to stop myself from providing my thoughts about those sad sacks that represent the badge as it would not have been family friendly.

Truly awful all round and the fans deserve so much better. One good thing to come from that is that the powers that be now know how disgraceful them so called pros are and they will be working their backsides off to broker deals to get rid of them. Going to be a tough rebuild over the summer unless SS have some cash ready.

Not all doom and gloom though and things will look much brighter come August

Pretty much this aside from Vela - could be down to lack of man management but he has been pretty average wherever position he has played this season.

Vela is/was awful.

Tom Walker is worse.

The turnout from our fans on Saturday was superb.

The players didn't deserve us and we certainly deserved more than we got.

Oh I believe the players are unhappy with the shit performance on Saturday well so are we and we don't want you at this club anymore so fuck off the lot of you !

Hearing reports the traffic chaos on Sunday was caused by some fucker jumping from a bridge??

Wouldn't surprise if it was a Bolton fan.

Well I think that's me done for the season. I'm not wasting any more of my time, effort and money on those pricks.

That was the lowest of the low on Saturday.

The players are cunts to a man. Being young doesn't excuse being piss poor either. 18-35 they are all wankers without an ounce of professionalism in their system.

Ill never give up watching Bolton, I love the club and I love our support and I love days like that on Saturday.

But I honestly don't have the energy to carry on this season. I need an extended break.

See you all at Rochdale.

From the captain

“We’re sorry to all of the fans that travelled to the game. What we served up simply wasn’t good enough. Throughout this season the fans have stuck with us, but after the Bristol City game I don’t think any one of us can challenge any of the criticism that comes our way.

“It also wasn’t a fair reflection on Jimmy Phillips. We’ve let him down in his first game as interim manager. He set us up in training on the Friday, but the game plan went right out of the window after three minutes. We can’t keep looking to the bench for inspiration – we have to shoulder the responsibility and adjust to what is going on.

“What happened at Bristol City can never happen again. There are ways of getting beat and that was unacceptable.

Pretty much sums my thoughts up after driving nearly 8 hours to get home yesterday.

I'd give you a +1 but as far as I know it simply isn't possible to do from the mobile site ????

Words are cheap, Darren.

His words are costing us £17k a week.

I'm just about getting my head back into place after Saturday, speechless gutted embarrassed are just some of the words used over the weekend worse was used out of my kids air space.

So were do we go from here? Looking at Saturdays team rachubka, holding, wheater,Walker, woolery, danns and dobbie are out of contract at the end of the season, silva will be going back to arsenal and Davies, pratley and Moxey are probably surplus to requirements due to their excessive wages.

So what kind of a fucking "TEAM" is that

This isn't an excuse for such a shocking performance and personally I think the players should reimburse all those fans who made the trip out of their wages but this needs sorting out quickly.

Those players who we want to keep should be sorted out as soon as possible and those we aren't should be kept well away from the first team. You can't expect player's who don't know where there futures lie to give 110% you only need to drop off 5 or 10 % in any league and you'll get slaughtered!!

Like I said I'm not making excuses but for fuck sake SORT THIS FUCKING MESS OUT NOW!!

it's not fair on the players.,jimmy phillips but most of all the fans

Until Saturday, I would have agreed to an extent.

But they can fuck off. If you're heart's not in, you should say so and not play.

My sympathy is all used up.

Cunts. I'd rather play in a shit division with players who care than in a higher division with shithouse mercenaries who are pissing into the fans' faces from the pitch.

His words are costing us £17k a week.

He lives about a minute's walk from you, go round and tell him.

It might be 'put up or shut up' time for the fans who've said they'll back the kids until the end of the season.

Jimmy might be of a mind to just stick a development squad side out against Reading, but it's difficult to envisage the crowd not just ripping them to shreds when they go in four down at half time.

At least if he puts out an unchanged side it'll be the players that deserve it who get it in the neck.
