radcliffe white Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 Looked good, but it was a bit of a shitty thing to do. Half an hour meet and greet wouldn't have dented the team's plans too much and it would have been more good PR. A missed opportunity there, I think. Especially as many had booked the trip expecting 2 games. correct mate that's was our take, felt sorry for the locals they went the extra mile regards hospitality Quote
Traf Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 correct mate that's was our take, felt sorry for the locals they went the extra mile regards hospitality That's how it looked from here, too. I've seen the facebook arrangements etc, looks like the Danes looked after you all, especially the one who lost his passport, had to stay longer and the locals took him to the embassy for emergency documents. Marc505 Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 No grief just a few bit pissed off that the club had arranged to go back to this boozer for something to eat. The coach pulled up Parkinson had 2 mins with the owner and fucked off. Saw some twitterati mentioning fans abusing players during the actual game. It is pretty shit if that pub had set everything up expecting players and staff to turn up. Quote

I hear from good source that the players looked at the pissed up Bolton fans outside the pub and didn't fancy it so Parkinson said hello and goodbye the new fitness lad wasn't so happy because the players needed the grub they drove elsewhere and ate. Also players weren't happy that they had 1 and 1/2 coach journey to play the game. Edited July 14, 2016 by Mounts Kipper Quote
