BOWTUN BAKED
Aaron Mooy was released when we were in the Premier league..... he now plays for City...... He wasn't released , he was offered a contract. He wanted first team football that we couldn't guarantee, so he joined the pub league, then moved home to Oz Where I think he ended up playing for City's feeder club out there. If he plays for City in any sort of meaningful game, it'll be a trip to the town hall steps time.

tylswhite
Jimmy Phillips lad was released. He is currently on trial at Liverpool. Jsl He was offered a contract but wanted to continue his studies as he is very clever apparently. He got offered a scholarship in USA which was best of both worlds but just before he was due to go he was invited to go to Munich with Liverpool for a trial etc.
Moderators Horwich Posted July 21, 2016 Moderators Share Posted July 21, 2016 Why are we releasing a youngster who has bow joined a better club than us? Why did we releasing youngsters when we didnt have a manager to decide? Was that sweaty kens decision?

frank_spencer
When players leave it isn't always because we want them to.Aye iirc at the time we could only issue extensions to those who had the option of an extra year built into their current contract. Like Holding for example.
Eavesy
Wonder why we didn't implement the same arrangement we had with proctor. As in we'll sign you up when we can. Which will be soon. Could have told maher and threlkeld to stick around and get a contract when we are allowed to Edited July 21, 2016 by Eavesy

frank_spencer
And will never play a proper game for CityThe only reason I can see him being on citehs books is to make up the numbers of English trained players in the chumps league squad.
