I used to know someone on the periphery of that lifestyle and that was something they said.  There was something akin to an arms race as each gang tried to show they were more brutal than the other lot.

One high spot of this series so far, is the only people who have been hurt up to now are other gangsters/members.

Was a good sentence that.  Of all the others though,only the fat lad got anything half decent with 8 years.  I imagine that group has a new leader, probably one of the acquitted blokes and its business as usual again now.
