  • Not quite a show… but the missus has fallen asleep mid program; I do it all the time, just watch on… she doesn’t agree. She’s now fallen asleep 3 times during last 10 mins of episode of Outlaws.

He means the episode where Pat told Mrs Goggins her parcel would arrive before 11am and he just chucked it in her wheelie bin the day after

Watched first episode of 'Miners’ Strike 1984: The Battle for Britain' on Channel 4 last night.
Really good, 3 part series, all available on All4 or whatever it's called now.

Watched Fool Me Once, a question (spoiler alert)

It's quite possible I missed it as I suffered numerous attention blackouts during the series, but was it ever explained why the bloke off Holloaks, Maya's former helicopter co-pilot, was hanging around her property at night and putting trackers on her car?

Because he thought she’d done it all along. Although I don’t actually think it was explicitly said that way.

First series was decent, second went completely stupid

Agree. When the Shamen came into it.

Sins of Our Mother on Netflix.

FML. These people have guns, nuclear weapons and are considered the world’s superpower. Scary!

Yes thought it was good. Lots of footage I’ve never seen.

Orgreave was a battlefield.

Had relatives down there in the 80’s so it resonates.

Communities were destroyed and there were no real winners.

Well apart from Thatcher & Mike Ashley of course.

Went to Orgreave a few years back

Build loads of houses on it

Then got told HS2 was coming through

Got told the houses would be cumpolsory purchased

Now.....

New series of Fargo on Amazon Prime. Halfway through it,  excellent as always. Very Fargo-ish.

Watched first one of series two. I'll bet my left one the baddies turn out to be the 'far right' yet again. Those who have let plenty of bombs off around the UK won't even get a mention whilst those who have never done so (however fucking deranged many of them might be) will be the bogeymen again.

BBC and ITV riddled with it. Brainwashing attempts by no doubt good friends of one of our regular contributors.

I think the yanks refer to this sort of stuff as a 'snow job'.

Watched first one. Didn't grab me. Not in same league as 'True Detective: North Country' IMO but opinion is what it's all about I suppose.
