I can't make it today, gutted about it, top fella is pud. Just seen a picture of the flags up at RMI, looks very impressive, I'm sure he'd be happy with it :)

Staggering turn out, not a dry eye in the place.

A very emotional experience.

The coffin was carried out to "The Wanderer".

His daughter spoke, she did fantastic.

RIP Pud.

Just back.  What an amazing send off.  Speaking to Sue he had more at the service than any other apart from Nat Lofthouse.  He beat the likes of Fred Dibnah and even Phil Gartside.

Overwhelming

Believe there were a few off here present today including some that are still out in Horwich now (!)

I didn't meet or know Andrew, but he sounds like a man who saw and did it all watching this team that brings us all together. Not everyone who goes watching Wanderers commands such communal respect from so many as him.

Rest in peace, Wanderer.

I had no idea he was ill just seen the BEN re his funeral I met him a few times through the Horwich massive BWFC and then some - remember a tale he told me about Cambridge away.....he also had exceptional taste in a casual jacket

Respect and condolences RIP

I never had the pleasure of meeting Pud, but from the things that have been posted and from the turnout he had today he must have been a top bloke.

Everyone of Puds friends and family should be extremely proud of the send they have given him, you've also made me extremely proud to say I support the same football team.

RIP Pud - Born to be a Wanderer

when his daughter spoke

Fantastic send off -Horwich RMI was quality, not seen as many Bolton mentallists under one roof since Munich.

Nice to meet a few off here.

Amazing turn out for a great lad the speech from his daughter took immense courage and must have made everyone shed a tear and the spontaneous round of applause was well deserved, also a great speech by Ted Hughes well done fella you nailed it and delivered it with class and dignity.

Agreed, how the hell Ted and Olivia did that, I will never know.  What a fantastic do (and it does sound wrong saying that).  Look forward to seeing the flags at all the games forever more x

Pud would be proud.

There will never be another send off pike that. Well done to all involved

Is it wrong to wake up with a hangover after a wake? Nar, he'd have enjoyed last night.
