Don't know him personally, but seems like everyone i know does. Seen loads about him recently.

Certainly BWFC to the core

How's he getting on?

The club are doing something at the Walsall game.

I can imagine that the £20k total will be smashed.

RIP Pud , thoughts with his family and friends. Glass Raised.

We've lost a top bloke today.

Live life lads and lasses.

Rest easy Pud. Sleep well mate.

Seconded Smiffs.

I always smile wryly thinking of when me and Pud went to Albania for the England game in 2001.

It was a last minute decision to go and I booked it via Sports Tours, those who did the specialist day trips for our matches.

Whilst booking, I realised I didn't know Pud's real name even though I'd known him since 1981...

I picked him up from Horwich at about 03-30 to catch a 07-00 flight from Manchester to Tirana, his first words to me were "what the fuck have you talked me into..."

Roughly twenty eight hours later, I dropped him off at his home,we both shook hands, pissed our sides and said "that was a cracking trip"

Top,top lad Pud....will be sorely missed.

Sad news.

RIP

On a really sad day it's really good to hear the club are doing something to help / to honour Pud

I've never forgotten the great advice he gave me when I became a Dad.

if there is an afterlife, right now someone is surely laughing at some shocking jokes

RIP fella

I don't remember why we started calling each other by our first names and not our nicknames.

A sign of respect perhaps. I certainly have that.

The club have been superb too.

RIP Andrew

I always called him Andy, he still called me Carlos.

RIP

Top lad

Fully agree.

Top man Pud. I will miss him shouting 'Wilmàaaaaaaaa' every time he bumped into me.

RIP.

From the testimonies on here the world is a poorer place.

RIP pal

Very sad news. R.I.P. Pud.

Mad as a box of frogs, kind and funny.

Love you Pud, we will miss you, fella.

Found out today at a Bolton reunion in Perth with Wackerchackers and Smileys mate.

RIP Pud. Didn't know him but the respect from some I respect tells me all I need to know.

Boltons finest without exaggeration. Without claiming to be close friends with him I keep thinking back to the Hard Rock Cafe in Munich, special times and probably the pinnacle of my experiences watching Wanderers.

RIP fella, glad it happened.

The bloke crammed more into his life in 50 years than a lot of folk would if they lived to be 150.

Myself included :hi:

At best I was only ever on nodding terms with Pub if our paths crossed at an away match, or pub somewhere around the country. Hope all the tributes being posted on here, FB or wherever by folk who knew him well, not so well and people who didn't know him at all helps his family and closest of friends during this very tough time.

RIP Andrew.

RIP Pud

Went to a few aways with him many moons ago

BWFC through and through

And he always ripped me to shreds for throwing up in the east lower after a session on Stella

RIP Pud

Said earlier in the thread that we knew each other to say 'oreet' to.

Top bloke tho. We've lost a good un.

He will be up there now pulling Gartside up.

RIP fella.
