I stand corrected, but it just seems to me the more emotive cases involving high-profile offenders are more apt to receive actual 'whole life' tariffs or will likely never be released.

I'm not arguing the toss for monsters like Huntley, Cregan, Rose West etc. being shown mercy, more that other, equally bad but lesser known criminals should be given the same terms.

'Public outrage' shouldn't be a consideration in regard to sentences, but I'd argue it is.

I think there's some issue about the legality of making someone "stateless", but she has Bangladeshi citizienship, so they're welcome to her.

She is a threat to national security and doesnt hold a UK passport. 

Her case is no different from anyone elses.

They generally dont give out passports to members or former members of terrorist organisations.
