Guest Posted July 6, 2017 Posted July 6, 2017 It's funny isn't it how many lefties defend Islam (no, not the bombings; but they are inseparable) but seem oblivious to the fact that if Islam had its way they'd be obliterated and the first against the wall. Highlights the madness beautifully. I think it was Stevie B who pointed this out re. gays. I used to consider myself left wing but seriously wouldn't know what left and right terms actually mean these days. Saw P. Hitchens discussing this and he argued the Tories are actually left-wing. As ever, he argued a good case . . . For anyone interested. It does have Owen Jones in it but to be fair he keeps his knickers straight this time. It's called the "Muslim block vote", which is why Corbyn allows anti-semitism to persist. Quote

Can you simplify, seriously? Ta edit - getting all Muslims to vote Labour, essentially? Edited July 6, 2017 by madthatter Quote

miamiwhite Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 Can anyone believe that vitriolic venomous viper Linda Sarsour is still on American streets spewing out her endless vile ? I'd have thought after her comments last week re the White House, she'd have been banged up by now. She is one dangerous hypocritical cow. Quote
miamiwhite Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 19 year old kid arrested at Liverpool John Lennon Airport in connection with the Manchester attack. Looks like he had a ticket to ride. I imagine he'll need somebody and the Corbyn/Burnham clan will say he's misunderstood and all you need is love. He'll need help if I get hold of him,no doubt he'll go into hiding into a third world cavern. Quote

You want to bum him because he says what you think. I get that. He makes some undeniably salient points but comes the right cunt in the Al Jazeera one, possibly, because of something previous that we're not privy to. I quite enjoyed his 'head slapping' moment, though. For me, Saira Khan and Catherine Guilyardi come across very well, with particular credit to the latter for her correct application of the word 'fascism'. Edited July 8, 2017 by enzo gambaro Quote

My main attraction is that he is one of a few public figures with a voice that is making valid, logical and brave points at a time when uncertainty, cowardice and vested interests rule. He is a breath of fresh air on the scene and whilst he uses language in a rather blunt and confrontational way at times, there has been little I'd disagree with. I heard him once say it was OK to not give Bin Laden trial; I didn't agree with that, personally, but understand it was probably not a 'real' possibility. Different strokes an alI that but think cunts a bit strong. His first response is totally valid and his ire and tone seem to stem from that point onwards. That's probably the most 'emotional' I've seen him to be fair. I agree about Khan, Guilyardi less so. Quote

madthatter Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 enzo - re. Guilyardi's point: If she is right about the fascist comment then why is it so hard for Muslims/Islam to denounce this aspect of the faith? I would perhaps agree with her point if the above were the case. It has either nothing to do with Islam or it is very much to do with Islam. So which is it? And for what it's worth, whether you, me or the French lass agree or disagree isn't that important; what really matters, in fact is crucial to how humanity proceed with this mess, is how Muslims throughout the world, and especially in Muslim states, define this.
