Thats the irony - UAF and the likes would probably be the first to have their throats slit if some of these extremists had their way.

Why would that be? Oh aye, because lads who balloon at football are nails and anyone of the left are soft as shite...

There's fuckloads of volunteers of 'the left' that are taking the fight direct to Daesh on the frontlines in places like Rojava but we ignore that on here...

Anyone 'taking it to the streets', be they FLA pisscans or counter-protest swampies would get a good water-cannoning and a good fucking swipe of a baton or two if I were in charge.

Draining money and resources better utilised elsewhere.

You and the other darling of the left from L/H should take note of what is happening in Venezuela. One of the worlds richest oil reserves and yet 90% of the people don't have enough to eat.

800% hyper inflation at present. All thanks to the wonderful Nicolas Maduro and his predecessor, mentor and Corbyn hero, Comrade Hugo Chavez

Just shows me that left or right once in power most folk become arse holes, if they weren't before.

I'd go as far as saying the right currently is more like the left was pre Blair.  It's most confusing trying to pick a side ;)

Maybe I am half asleep and missing the point. Wouldn't be the first time!

Haha P, basically meant we tend to lean ever so slightly to the right and that we'll be proven not to be wrong.

It's the fucking proles not getting onboard (in Venezuela) - wanting all the benefits of socialism and all the trinkets and baubles of capitalism, the powers that be needed to up their game in terms of re-education and, if that failed, liquidation...

Anyhow, I ain't a socialist, I'm an anarchist these days.

I see Jezza is still refusing to criticise the Venezuelan leadership he previously expressed admiration for. Maybe he thinks that 90% of the populace starving and 800% inflation is acceptable?

He might deliver it with the other clown living at number 11 Downing Street. In case it happens, can I wish you all the best of British  ;)

Socialism does not work. Never has and never will. At least not beyond the amount of time it takes the people to realise that they have been duped/hoodwinked.

100% agree, it could and should....but it never will as "man" is inherently greedy. The problem with an equal society is that, as George Orwell said, you will always have some that are more equal than others.

As well as Socialism not working, Capitalism doesn't really seem to be working either (granted it's better, but it's still a bit shit)  -  a middle ground would be nice......but that'll never happen either  :)
