I see nothing in Labours manifesto that will get employers employing.

Personally, I'm likely to drop clients because my tax liability will make it not worth while.

Fortunately, I have a few quid so don't need to subsidise the state.

Can I ask you a question about the Labour tax evasion plans and how they plan to close the tax loopholes. How do you think it will it affect self employed people? The IFS said that it was the main area of evasion but Labour were not forthcoming with the details. I was self employed for over 20 years but as a sole trader.

I watch C4 News quite regularly and the "poetry" of it all appeals to me... every time Kristen & Co challenge a Tory politician they get the defensive "we know you are out to get us" line... then C4 go and give their Leader a big lifeline in the final week's run in... This is true. It’s a grey area but there is a difference between the odd cash job and wholesale tax and NI avoidance. 
This is the comment from the IFS I was talking about reviewing the Labour manifesto (forget the others, they don’t matter)

Labour are going to try to shaft richer people. They will cheat more. Tax in take has always been higher when people feel ill pay my fair share.
