White Lies - a superb band - are very happy with Brexit today. Another bonus for all concerned and a shot in the arm for Brexit.

The old adage; if you keep on doing things the way you always do things, don’t be surprised if you keep on getting the same results.

”We are aware this happened to another British band last week makes their management the wankers, not brexit, not ferries and not border control.

Just saying, like.

Yawn.

This situation is pathetic, but anyone who looks at it rationally can see another example of the very essence of why we voted out in the first place.

Moreover these stupid regulations have been known about since the agreement was made, so questions need to be asked about those organising the tour too.

Spoiled brats taking their balls home. The same one who likes to bitch about Britain's actions because he hopes for some pre election browny points. The same spoiled brats who are essentially blocking ukrainian membership of NATO. A new snippet reported today that is something of an eye opener.

No wonder Aukus was created.

Eh?

Not sure what you mean by that.

And I doubt a band have the clout to block the Ukraine from NATO.

I haven’t looked at French politics and Macron’s popularity like you clearly have. I just thought your earlier summary of why he only had himself to blame was non-sensical. The gist of it was he had over emphasised France’s importance (a good thing for his home audience I’d have thought) and tried to stop Putin  invading Ukraine via negotiation (can’t blame him for trying).

He’s in the middle of an election. He put himself forward, against the EU’s stance on negotiating with Putin.
He Sat at a table, 30 yards (approx) between him and Putin in a photo shoot that was embarrassing.
He embarrassed Boris. Many on here laughed at Boris, most of France was embarrassed with Macron.
The fact that no one has yet been shocked, that a far right politician could be the next President of France tells you a lot about this WW politics thread.

Boris is lacking the embarrassment gene.

Just look at the state of the prick

I think he was saying the EU are spoilt brats, not White Lies.

But they are. The Flying Pickets would have done the gig.

Forget Boris, I know it’s difficult but this is a politics thread. Trump, Biden are constantly mentioned but all the pro EU experts seem to be blind to what’s going on politically in Europe.

Boris does a good job of embarrassing himself

In your eyes, mind you you only see one way,  loads of folk take to his bumbling persona.

They do, you are correct. God knows why but they do.

And again, Boris. Let’s change the thread to Boris.

What do you think about my comment about the real possibility of a far right President of France?

Why do you think that France is faced with this possibility?

Please answer without including ‘Boris’ in your answer.

Sorry to sound like fromage.

I mentioned the Hungarian PM earlier today and it is worrying how many right wing candidates are doing well across Europe.

You seem to be infering a Far Right President being elected in France would be Emmanuel Macron's fault, yet are unable to explain why. And YOU brought Boris Johnson into the discussion.

It was you who brought him up in your weird Macron post. I’ve mentioned loads of times that we need a strong EU for a peaceful Europe.  I think that the strength of this bloc was undermined by brexit and similar nationalist elements exist in other countries and maybe the war in Ukraine on the back of covid and immigration crisis is giving them a stronger voice.

It’s like the 3 fucking stooges on here, cheese, Farrelli and mick…. can’t believe I’ve only one of them on ignore. 🤣

Because he embarrassed the unembarassable (made up word alert) prick that I'm embarrassed to say is my PM?

You just stick to making shit up. Sorry, I meant drawing inferences.

“I can’t do my job as a direct result of Brexit”

”yeah but look at Boris’s hair! At least he’s a lovable scamp”

”But what about all the money we’ve lost?”

”Look. At. His. Hair. Scamp. Lovable. Hair. Union Jacks. Scamp. Hair. Fzzt. Bzzzzttttssscczzz. Hair. Must. Not. Devote. Exterminate. Fzzzzzzz. Hair. Scamp” <distant sound of explosion>

I thought Boris was bang on about transgender issues in the interview I saw with him the other day.

There, I've said it 😁

Boby, if you want evidence of what is going on in Europe may I present exhibit 1, “gullible fools who listen to politics of hate”

Is that the same EU who are literally the biggest funders of putins war.
