They are a disgrace and it starts with the top people being inept and untrustworthy.

This comes from being educated in a system where the employment of younger people for menial jobs is standard procedure (warming the bog seat; Being a toast rack; Buffing anything that needs buffing).

Bullingdon types consider throwing juniors under the bus as simply "the way things work" because in their heads, they've never left school.

Corporal punishment is probably not as frequent and severe these days, but I imagine they are happy to pay rent boys and 50 year old huwers to trample all over their balls after a tough day at the subsidised parliamentary bar.

She didn't say we live in a fascist state. She gave examples of things the Government are doing that suggest a creep towards fascism. Anyway, I think you and mounts are confusing fascism with bigotry.

Fascism : a way of organizing a society in which a government ruled by a dictator controls the lives of the people and in which people are not allowed to disagree with the government.

So everything she was allowed to say and do freely and without fear, she says that’s we are heading to a place where she won’t be able to say it, and we will be ruled by a dictatorship and wont be free and able to disagree with the government. I think she might just be talking utter bollox.

So why do the Government want to clamp down on public protest, sell off a public news service that is critical of them, introduce voting ID, ban schools from teaching certain subjects, scrap the Human Rights Act etc?
