Remember the "don't let a good crisis go to waste" comment. Lots of similar comments and tweets in that vain, sometimes hugely inaccurate factually, but the government hasn't capitalised on them.

Not convenient, a fact. It’s not mitigation it’s Whataboutism. The correct definition. Mention Labour and it’s thrown back at the current government. They are in power so obviously they deserve everything thrown at them.
Surely you want to know how the others would do better? 
Remember the Brexit vote? Sorry to bring it up but the EU had many problems (I agreed) that were rightly highlighted. Some thought that it would be better out (I didn’t) Some said it would be worse.

I'm really enjoying some of the tied dyed blues takong pot shots as their party tries to claw back a semblance of respectable polling figure.

Shows how far behind they have fallen.

As for changing from the leadership campaign, it was all part of the strategy - get in power and then take the first two years changing the party from within. Marginalising the far left, root out the antisemitism, getting back on track as a credible and therefore electable party.

I applaud Starmer and his team for giving me my party back and for giving the country an electable alternative.

As for a credible line of attack, it's dodgy ground for the Tories that one, as they are going to have to convince the public they are not just re-electing the same party, but a brand new version of it - and with many policies in direct conflict with the last three leaders. That in itself is a very glass houses strategy, and easy to pull apart.

It's very simple people.

Just look at the Tory government and remember they are a bunch of cunts.
