Today, the Lord Chief Justice Lord Burnett, Sir Geoffrey Vos and Lord Justice Underhill concluded that Rwanda does not count as a safe third country

These pesky judges, that we've appointed ourselves....

Although, this is actually perfect for Suella and the Conservative Party. In reality, they know the whole concept is deeply flawed and won't work, so they don't really want it to. What they do want is for this to drag on through the courts (as they'll appeal), so come the next GE, they can say "We're doing all we can to get rid of these illegals, but we're being stopped by the ECHR etc" - let's be honest, the only thing they can possibly have left to go at for the GE, is their stance on immigration, they'll be hoping and praying that more and more come in over the next year or so, and that this policy still keeps getting kicked down the road. And they'll continue pushing it to the fore, to get the Gammons riled up.

If they really wanted to do it, they'd immediately revoke our membership of the ECHR and do it, especially as they have still have a massive majority in the HoC, they could get it forced through pretty quickly. There must be a reason why they're not doing that.......

Can you appeal an appeal?

And it's the UK courts that have ruled this isn't it? Nowt to do with Europe?

Yeah - its funny that these people who kept bleating on about giving our parliment and courts back power by leaving the EU, now have issues with UK law.

Its almost as if they don't like being told they can't do anything they want. Almost.

There's Tory MPs already blaming the ECHR even though this has fuck all to do with them.

Aye. Hardly anything they touch turns to shit.

Even though Boris has gone, his legacy continues to deposit vast lumps of shit all over the United Kingdom.

Its time some patriots took over, rather than a gaggle of anti-British, narcissistic traitors that have been allowed to try and destroy our magnificent nation.

They can request permission to appeal to the Supreme Court, which is the highest court in the UK

The reason the policy was found to be unlawful was because the failure to provide adequate guarantees Rwanda is a safe country means it's in breach of the ECHR

They're after publicity.

Bairstow has done their job for them. They'll be fucking delighted with that bit of reality.
