No arguments here but let’s be fair, China are not showing anyone how it’s done. If we did f all here we’d still not lay a glove on china for pollution.

Some surprisingly impressive things happening over there to be honest

You have to go to France first, then row your entire family back across the Channel in a rubber dinghy.

I'm not sure I get that either.

What I do wonder, is why the fuckery Rwanda wants other people's refugees?!?!

Why do we want other peoples refugees?

It’s the right thing to do no?

Taking our fair share of those in genuine need. Obviously there needs to be a balance.

Do you not think we should take any?

@Sweep there you go. Plus they’re getting paid for it.

Good point

North Korea don’t take any

I'm not saying we do, but that's not what I asked is it.

Rwanda are actively seeking for us to send them across.

One minute it’s a deterrent to stop the dinghies…

Next minute it’s a wonderful opportunity to live and work in a work in a prosperous, welcoming and tolerant country. ( I’m sure Rwanda has many qualities, not that I’ve ever been.)

which one is it?

Do you honestly need it explaining?

If you was asked to pay 5k to go to England only to be told there’s a good chance you will end up in the middle of Africa would you pay it?

Because in many cases our foreign policy was directly responsible for the situation they find themselves in (Afghanistan).

I wouldn't, but there will still be a lot of people doing it. Does anybody think that, if this policy ever gets going, that it'll make much of a dent on those trying to get across?

Probably never get chance to find out.

Not at all, but I am a bit wary that a country is happy to take a load of people that another country doesn't want for purely for financial benefit.

I've never been to Rwanda, so I don't know if it's a good place for them to go to.

I just don't see how us paying however much it is, to ship a few hundred across to Africa is really addressing the main issue, and how it will reduce the numbers of those trying to get in.

Maybe we do have to start the process, and then check back in a few years to see if it has worked or not.

I agree on that, as it'll never happen. It'll be dragged out long enough for Labour to quash it when they get into power next year

It's not happening. Get over it. We might as well threaten to send them to the moon.

Just process them and send them back to where they came from if they're illegitimate. Like we've always done before. It's tragic that you and your ilk have been so taken in by this utterly ridiculous illegal scheme. Will you ever learn to stop believing in these utter charlatans? I suspect not.

No because if they are prepared to risk their life crossing the channel in a dinghy they will not be deterred by Rwanda and most would have a legitimate asylum claim if we ever processed any.

Spend. The. Money. On. Processing. The. Ones. Coming. Over. Much. More. Quickly.

it’s really fucking easy, this.

If they’re Albanian we know straight away. Ship them back.

If they’re Syrian and legitimate then Rwanda shouldn’t be a problem for them. It’s not Syria.

But they need processing within 48 hours and sending to wherever is the most suitable.

We can find £30billion for knock off PPE when we need to, I’m sure we can build a few Nightingale-style processing centres on the south coast.

Dealing with it sensibly won't generate the outrage though. That's what this is all about.
