I'd say it makes you look as though you are dealing with the situations at hand - also  after the first by elections after he became leader he knew he needed to shut down the left of the party to become electable.

For offering a reasonable alternative to this current government then I personally think he's done a good job so far.

Again, ridigidy to ideals never won much at the ballot box. We're a small c, social responsible nation at heart, those who claim the centre ground generally win elections.

They aren't though. This narrative that they are all shit is basic. There is an real argument for electoral change - more so than ever, but give me a party of competent, largely decent people over our current government.

Is it going to be the land of milk and honey if Labour get in? Not in any way, do we deserve public servants actually trying to govern for the UK rather than in fighting and management of the party rather than the people. Yes.

We've been in hock to internal Westminster rubbish for far too long, the current Conservatives are like a right wing version of the Labour party in the 80s - too concerned with winning battles against themselves. Last weeks PopCon idiocy the latest version, another faction not interested in normal folk, just endless ideological battles that are best kept to debating in the JCR.

Personally I think I've been pretty balanced in my posts, I've voted Conservative and Lib Dem in my time.
