See I think RW at heart is a liberatarian- small state and leave me alone. Which is fine.

Personally I believe that we should support the poorest in our communities and that way we all are richer. Support those as well who don't take from the state but lift more people up so they can, than does take state intervention in to my mind so that collectively we are a better country.

We all have different views on how to achieve this - that's why we can all politely disagree.

It's not "making things up", it's making a pretty reasonable assumption from the words you used. If you say "all those millions of people, and the best they can come up with are these 4?", that implies that you think all 4 are bad/shit.

I can see Biden withdrawing soon. He's doing a good job behind the scenes, but his public speaking gaffes are becoming too difficult to ignore. Trump is even more embarrassing, but his support is basically a cult. A younger Democrat would absolutely wipe the floor with him. Gavin Newsom is a no-brainer for me. Looks like a President and speaks like a President, and is only 56.

None in particular, it's the coverage that has changed. I'd still vote for him if I was a yank, but it's obvious his public speaking mistakes are now coming into more focus, and his policy decisions are being ignored more.

Probably more shocked that you backed him after years of public gaffes only to say they’re hard to ignore 2 weeks later. As this thread proves it sometimes takes a bit longer to sink in with you but you get there 👍
