Some "new arrivals" with conflicting thoughts, may reconsider though. 

It simply isn't a good look. A number of high profile guys have pulled out.

There is no doubt that he's done a remarkable job of getting them where they are, and he has gradually been shifting them towards a democratic party and away from a company. 

Whether that's happening quickly enough, and what the internal machinations are, we don't know, but he will have to take notice to ensure the successes are continued.
