Recently, I've seen a number of small businesses- chippies etc- asking for cash if possible. 

One cafe has a sign up which details their bank charges on relatively small  card purchases are around the same as the wages for one staff member. (Part time I think that is).

I was paid for something in crypto the other day, which was a first for me, and as far as I can tell saved myself and the payer a few quid.
