Calling for vocal lefties such as Billy Bragg & Greta Thunberg to be burned & slapped about is grand.

Calling for the IDF & Tory MPs to be attacked however should result in a prison sentence.

Okay then Bolty old chap 👍 No irony to see there.

 It’ll be a whoosh response I suspect.

I'll burn a CD any fucking time I want to pal. :D

The dawn of realisation. Never ever vote for socialists.

What a shambles.

Do not think Newsnight are quite right about their language, apparently Keir is limping on, does mean he gets PIP ?

I labelled him Mr. Beige U Turn on here a long time before he was elected. Abuse from #theusuals.

Some of us have foresight; some foreskins; some four brain cells.

So disappointing.  A huge mandate 12 mo ago.  So much to improve after the shambles of the previous 2-3 years, yet domestically they’ve chosen the wrong battles to fight and the wrong hills to die on…..so far. Still, 4 years left to fix 🤞.

If they don’t then we know what’s coming🤬🤯🤡.

Too late.

Damage done.

His right hand woman is already briefing and manoeuvring, and Wes Streeting will be getting his ducks in a row.

Back benchers attacking fellow party back benchers, and their own government.

Those albatrosses can pack a punch, and won't give a toss who they shit on.

If the pm limps on, then the eventual blood letting happens too close to the next election.

However, if Streeting was too get the gig, then I see him also struggling to drag the ideologues with him.

If the Ashton attack dog get in, then she may well attract a number of very left voters back, but will guarantee defeat next time round.

Only chance I can see, is to lance the boil now, and rebuild positively well before the next vote.

I always thought the whole point of a Parliament was to make sure a dictatorship can never happen.

Best country in the world.

It will if the reality of Nigel Farage running something larger than a corner shop ever comes to pass 😁

Once again, we disagree.

Ah well, time will tell.

Given what has come to pass recently, then he's likely to have the opportunity.

Country is skint, and we know the main issues of the day.

The main two won't truly tackle them, and folk have lost trust in them.

Whether his economic plans, environmental ideas etc make sense or not, he's quite possibly going to get a chance to implement his ideas.

A coalition if current polls remain similar, with him at the helm.

I think you're right.

I also think it would be an unmitigated disaster that would make Brexit seem like a well thought out and implemented strategy.

It would hugely damage or already damaged reputation internationally and further out descent into a bit part player as opposed to a world leader.

It would also be hugely detrimental to social cohesion.

All opinions of course - but then I was right about pretty much everything I predicted about Brexit.

The whole Labour require more time argument  is wearing thin. Seems to only be getting worse with time.

It’s an unprecedentedly difficult time for anyone to lead in though. And voter empathy & impatience seems to be getting worse.

It’ll take some turnaround from here to get re-elected. Still time though. And we still don’t quite know how folk will vote when the reality hits that Reform could soon be in.

Reform may well manage better to stop the boats, but that’s not going to make tangible improvements to our lives. Their refusal to acknowledge the need for net zero would be a long term disaster economically & environmentally. Only so long governments can bury their heads in the sand in that respect.

for me

the Tories had quite clearly made a mess of a lot of things, mainly the economy and migration

yes you can blame covid etc, but, look at what we saw from them during that time, PPE scandals and general contempt towards the public stands out, they were a shambles

their time was up

and look at them now, they are nothing, they have been diminshed to an irrelvant background party

I'm glad Labour took over

and they've faced a backlash since day one, whether or not it's justified is debatable

but they certainly appear to be struggling to get on top of certain issues

though perhaps they faced an impossible task on that front anyway with the growing "support" for Reform, and the mindset it brings

one thing seems clear to me though, if Labour can't clean up or show progress in sorting out this mess over the next 4 years, Reform certainly wouldn't be able to sort anything

so fuck knows what it will look like if they get in, other than those that voted for them having a misplaced sense of victory, much like brexit

"you lost, get over it" as the country slides even further down the pan

Many labour back benchers are firmly in the tax the rich camp

If we increase the tax take i m with em, but if we dont, itll fall on us PAYE types

One things for sure, there needs to be less spent on benefits unless the tax take increases

Id go bit of both

Yesterday was bad for labour but the tories and reform didnt come out with any credit either

In fact, i can actually see why the mp for shit, run down mining town voted against

Some cunt in leafy suburbia, much less so

We need to pay more tax if we want everyone to be happy, including all the scroungers.

It's dead simple.

It also doesn't help when a new government gets in and 50% of the population are hoping that they crash and burn, and doing everything in their irritating power to jump on every last thing they're not happy with.

It's even worse when these views aren't ones they have arrived at independently and they're just repeating cliches parrot fashion.

There's some people I just need to take a quick look at on Facebook to have a pretty good understanding of their position on basically every contentious issue.

And these people are on both sides by the way.

"Calling for Billy Bragg to be burned". Does the drama queen really think he'll get anywhere with this over egged hysterical bullshit?

The screeching about Thunberg was bad enough but it seems he's losing the plot now.

Have to be illicit substances involved somewhere. Either that or a meltdown for other reasons.

Maybe emotional turmoil brought on by Mr. Beige U Turns incessant capitulations?

Exactly what's wrong with them and will cripple the country as the exodus continues. Drive out the wealth creators. Pure genius.

They never change - it has always been so.
