Promoting holidays at home. Good on him.

Or are we to think of nothing else for an as yet unspecified period of time?

I don't really know what you're going on about.

I just posted this because he reminded me of Alan Partridge

I bet he knows a cracking owl sanctuary!

Couple of by elections last night in Councils were Reform won seats but have since resigned. They lost both seats.

Probably more about people being pissed off with having to vote again but good news anyway.

"Lynn, these are sex people!"

Brilliant.

Series 4 of From the Oasthouse came out a couple of days ago on Audible and it's magical! 🤣

That depends upon how good the new ones are, as opposed to how good those others would have been.

I've never been convinced that party politics is the right way to go for local government.

Just need them to be dedicated, effective and decent.

Never knew it was an actual owl sanctuary, that makes the scene twice as funny now.

So French Police are now entering the water to slash the boats.

Maybe that is the new slogan ‘Slash the Boats.’

Strangely the GB News and Reform fans on Twitter who discuss every aspect of immigration are largely ignoring this.

It was one boat. Probably because the BBC were there filming. 32 boats got through over the last 7 days though bringing 2082 people.

100 million pound cost a year right there.

Strange the only gammons who have commented have come out with a similar line.

That’s because it’s a fact. 🤷‍♂️

The report that you posted a link to also said it was not a new tactic.

‘There had been some speculation that this rare incident could be evidence that the French police - under growing pressure to stop a surge of small boat migrant crossings to the UK - are changing their tactics.
But they have made it clear to the BBC that police have not adopted any new tactics in dealing with small boat launches,’

They have ‘made it clear’ because the legal steps to allow this have not been fully ratified maybe ?

Is nt this what people wanted ? I am confused ?
