Remind me/us of your ‘political knowledge’ again

Seriously, There is no reason to worry about young people. It’s the ‘middle aged’ we should be concerned about.

We? Maybe BB is married to Julie?

Maybe, maybe not. You’ll never know.

It’s all just a distraction of course from Rachel. No one has mentioned Rachel for a while. Rachel who has managed to increase inflation, reduce gdp, reduce employment, increase borrowing costs, increase borrowing, created her own ‘black hole’ etc.etc.

Julie, mistook Rishi (or Rishak as Mick Brown calls him, everyone makes mistakes) Julie was the Reform candidate in Bolton south and Walkden. She came second.

It really is odd to ignore the bit about Rachel and spend 12 months obsessing about Julie. 🤷‍♂️

None of us voted for a Rachel

Interesting where this is heading. The elderly used to be respected rather than reviled.

Further evidence of our descent into the abyss inspired by left wing politics.

I don't know too much about them, never read any of their policies, as they've never been in danger of actually doing anything before.

In fact, all I really know about them is that they're a sinister cabal of communist types - green on the outside and red on the inside (and I learnt that from @bolty58 😉)

I am a river to my people.

Because she's the oldest female MP in Parliament... I'm not denigrating her in any way, but she is not a "prominent politician". She's a protestor, like Corbyn. They have their place, but it's not in Government.

Shes the mother of the house because she is the longest uninterrupted serving female MP, rather than being the oldest (which she may also well be).

Which is more of an achievement, TBH.

Yep.

She is fortunate though to have the constituency she has.

An MP is supposed to represent their constituency. What are you blathering about with luck? Well, i can hazard a guess...

I thought that was odd. You don't get to be called Mother/Father of the house just by being old 😁

Will you wait till he’s convicted and delete it in the middle of the night. (Midday in Australia) or will you hope no one notices. That’s not going to happen.

Stop it. You’re honestly making yourself look dead daft.

irony should only be done consciously by those of us who understand it.

If you think that picture is there as an act of support, you may need to dig out a dictionary and look up words like “subtle” and “banter”

whilst you’re there, have another look at irony.

Backtracking now eh? eh?

For the record, I never thought it was. Bad taste? Yes but this is Wanderersways and I’ve seen worse.
Just another Friday poke. You never disappoint😉

To hold the same constituency for nigh on 40 years is an incredible achievement, no matter what you think of her. I'm not sure "being fortunate" is a fair thing to say.

For what it's worth, I'm no fan of hers, but I have no idea what she does day to day for her constituents, she must be doing something, and doing it reasonably well

Even after all these years it sometimes feels like you don’t know me at all.

I can’t say that doesn’t hurt. 😞

Stokey is a proper mix of folk. No different to most areas. Been gentrified in parts & locals priced out. Plenty good pubs, parks & places to eat.

I went there last summer, had a great night out. Although some parts were a bit suss, especially as it got later into the evening

Yesterday I was in Manchester with some of GMP’s finest. The discussion turned to the attackers (bastards) so that’s why I brought it up during our ‘banter’. All’s good.👍
