Surely no one really believes Olly Robbins didn't notify Starmer or the FS about Mandelson failing his security vetting?

The question that will screw Starmer is ‘incompetent or dishonest?’

He seems to be one or the other when it comes to this.

Starmer has been numb.

Maybe he should just deny everything and invade Kuwait to divert attention.

Can we not invade Liverpool instead?

Still

Good to see how fervently people are hunting down anyone with Epstein associations.

No double standards anywhere.

😁

I think the Don calling out Epstein and distancing himself from him years ago played in his favour, whereas Starmer  started handing out jobs to his mate at the height of the scandals

Tbf Trump has also been handing out jobs to his mates who are all over the files too.

Some of these are stretching a bit but yes the good people of America should be pushing for his removal. The same should be done over here with Starmer yet we still have some folk on this very forum who think he’s done nothing wrong. Bonkers hey

I thought it was Christ and Trump? Starmer can be the bent over altar boy.

FTP.

Starmer has simultaneously managed to upset the people who voted for him. The Labour backbenchers, our closest ally, the enemy of our closest ally and now, the one that will probably be his biggest mistake, the Civil Service.
Some going that. Take a bow son.👍

The big problem is who replaces him!

Don’t go Sir Keir!

Civil service is being shown up now.

They're a law unto themselves, and Starmer doesn't seem to be able to control them neither.

Unless of course he had categorically said Mandy will be the man, and they had to allow it. Denied it of course, but the sacked man may have his say.

Whatever the reality is, given Starmer reckoned that Boris/Sunak should have resigned for just for being investigated, his two tier tag is going to grow even more.

Anyone remember Lord Lebedev? Who Boris Johnson appointed as a Lord for life against all security advice?

The hypocrisy is staggering but that’s politics. People still fall for it though. As I alluded to, the civil service will be his downfall. You can fool the electorate but not the ‘mandarins’

Civil Service just ploughs on with people there for their entire careers with big fat pensions.

Politicians and Prime Ministers come and go
