Anyway, he won't win as i say, the soft left just won't have him. Miliband has a stronger chance. The thing is Streeting does really represent my wing of the party but i think it'd split the party too much and we'd have three years crumbling into the terrible situation the conservatives are now in. There are no green shoots there, they are quiet because they currently are of no real issue, the fact that the local elections were awful for them as well and it go no mention whatsoever shows how little they mean to the national political discourse currently - believe me being quiet isnt a strategy😁 Quote

HMRC decided the Housing minister who lied about taking legal advice had accidentally underpaid her housing tax (but without being negligent!) and so no penalty needed - and btw we'll announce it the day she needs a political boost. Not in Crawley Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Bit Le Tissier all that. HMRC are in cohoots to give Raynor a runway to being PM. Even when she's been cleared its not enough for some. I'd lay off the tin foil for a while. Quote

According to the news this morning. She and her team have known this for a period of time but have been 'keeping their powder dry' as it were. I'm not so sure HMRC would be daft enough to expedite an investigation to try to support someone's political ambitions. Quote
Not in Crawley Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Yes it was annonuced this morning via the Guardian, no dount shes been sat on it until after seeing how the locals went. Which you would do. The idea that this isnt managed and is HMRC involved is just plain silly. Quote

She did take legal advice, but that advice told her to take expert tax advice as she was a trustee of a house of her 17 year old son She did not take the extra advice and this is why she stepped down. The idea that HMRC have in some way helped her out with the timing of the announcement is pure tin hat speculation. You can just you do like the ‘sinister slag’ as someone else does on this thread. Any speculation you would like to share on Farages financial affairs ? Start with his house purchase and work you way to his multi million pound cash gift. Quote

Followed by a recall petition and by election. Rupert Lowe will run one of his moonmen, split the gammons and Nige can fuck off back to his grubby little 'up the 'ra' videos for a few quid Would be fucking beautiful. Quote

No, she's released the info now as its expedient, not as you suggested that HMRC where in on it. Either you're naive about how politics works or just willfully suggesting that she's in the wrong for doing so because you simply dont like her very much. Either way, its not her thats the silly billy. Quote

But... they seem paralysed with regards to decisiveness and communicating... for example we are facing a huge energy crisis this winter and all they can do is big themselves up. Gas exploration companies needed the green light in the North Sea back in March to open reserves this summer, Reeves stated it would happen, Milliband objected, Starmer had a cabinet meeting and still hasn't shown any leadership and made a decision. At least you're happy to admit, that if he's found guilty of wrong doing, you'll still support. Like Trump, he could fuck kids, and his supporters would find away of shifting the blame away from Farage and onto the children. Edited 56 minutes ago by Sweep Quote

She's also gone full MAGA, now good frienda with Trump, is a vaccine skeptic, made a very odd crusade esque speach at the UN and generally is a populist far righter. Not sure even the Conservatives will lean into this endorsement. Quote
