Not to mention the costs of terrorist trials plus the bill for monitoring them and surveillance involved.....how many millions then eh you clever twat ?

But, you bleat on about folk trying to raise awareness.

I believe there are 23,000 in this country on a terror watchlist because there is a serious risk of them commiting acts of terror, 3000 of those are watched 24 hours a day, it takes 3 teams consisting on 9 men or women per team to monitor each person and the cost is £3 Billion per year. I'll find the exact figures once I've finished my cup of tea

Nice one pal and Youri bleats on re the marches costing £10million to police.

I wonder how much the anti Trump protest cost to police ?

Far more than that I’d imagine and all because his detractors couldn’t hack it.....

The Courts directed the CPS to provide information to TR's solicitors i.e. exactly what he was being charged with and have asked for more time so retrial has been moved from 4th September to the 27th September, get your #FreeTommy t-shirts on, large scale demonstration planned for outside the Old Bailey, coaches being arranged from your local cities

...coaches being arranged from your local cities

Seats start at £75 - with free can of Excelsior lager and line of benzocaine.

All proceeds go to the 'Tommy wants a Canali suit and a luxury family holiday to Barbabos' Fund...

Seeing as his name is in the report and he has been convicted, why are we spinning wheels

That nurse is ace!

That nurse is ace!

My first reaction to seeing that video earlier was how good that nurse was stood in the middle shepherding everyone out first rather than panicking.

Fair play to her

Speaking of costs for marches isn’t it about time that Nottinghill Carnival was stopped, though it’s not a March as such it’s a huge cost for the tax payer many more arrests than any TR parades

Was in London over the weekend, there was a vegan march on. Loads of folk, mainly students and middle aged women with crappy signs about not killing baby cows and pigs. Plenty of coppers required mainly to direct traffic, what a waste.

It's pointless killing baby cows and pigs. Let them grow big.

Baby sheep are tasty as fuck though. Chop then fuckers up!

And the Echo Chamber sponsored by Empty Vessels Ltd. is re-open for business...

The carnival has come under criticism for its cost to the London taxpayer, with the cost of policing the event more than £6,000,000; however, it is argued that this should be put into context since the carnival is estimated to bring approximately £93,000,000 into the local economy.

Don't know how true those numbers are

Looks lovely with all the local houses and shops boarded up in advance.....don’t get that when the marches take place...

Just saying....:D

Only the 133 arrests have been made so far, and 20 weapons seized

I know

To be honest. I don't go so really don't give a toss if it goes ahead or not. I was merely pointing out that there's more to it than policing costs, if it is actually bringing a lot of money into the local economy.

If we ban all these pathetic marches and Notting Hill carnival, where do we stop? Should this Bolton Food festival thing be banned as well? Surely there is a police cost to that as well

Haha..how many arrests at the food festival pal ?

The arrest stats at Notting Hill far outweigh all the FLA marches put together....

Pretty quiet for them.

Must be the rain or Brexit’s fault.

Of which £92,000,000 is on bing! :-)

I’d say more on weed mate.

Spoils do a brisk trade though on “cutlery”...

55 arrests last year at Parklife - a far smaller event...

Dunno why the alt-right mouthpieces are singling out the Notting Hill carnival.

Must dislike Londoners.

Don’t know why the alt left sots are singling out Parklife....mustn’t like Mancs.

Hang on....that’s something we agree on for once.

As I've stated before, it's comical that folk postulate upon there being 'leftists' on here...

It's as if some inhabit an alternate reality.

And I don't dislike Mancs en masse either - nor scousers, southerners, Wolves fans, Africans, eastern europeans, muzzies et al...

Until proven otherwise everyone is equally worthless.
